III ~ Don't Ever Scare Me Like That Again

No no no no no no no. Now isn't the time Mikey. Just focus on figuring out how to find her.

"Should we go look for her?" I suggested. Gerard sat there and thought about it for a second.

"Where would we even look?" He asked.

"I don't know. I just know that we need to find her."

"I'd give it a bit before we do that. She could come home and we're not here." Gee reasoned. I sighed and agreed to stay put for a bit.

~3 Hours Later~

"Okay that's it." I say springing up from the couch.

"What do you mean?" Gerard asked while standing up with me.

"We've been waiting for three hours." I said while beginning to pace back and forth. "She'd be back by now if she was coming back."

"Mikes just calm down. We can go look for her just calm down." Gee reasoned.

"How can I calm down when she could have done something to herself! What if she tried to kill herself again? She could be dead in a hospital bed for all we know!" I yelled while continuing to pace.

~Y/n's POV~

I hear two voices going back and forth inside the boy's house. Gee and Mikey must be up. Good good. I opened the door to see Mikey pacing in front of Gerard with a worried expression.

"Just calm dow-" Gee said, cutting himself off at my presence. Mikey spun on his heel to face me. His worried expression turned into a look of relief yet still saddened. He ran towards me and wrapped his arms around me as tight as possible. He buried his head into the crook of my neck and let out a few sobs.

"Holy shit y/n you're back!" Gee yelled while rushing to join the hug. He let go shortly after but Mikey remained attached to me.

"Mikey?" I asked while rubbing his back. He sniffled back another sob and began to speak into my neck.

"Where did you go?" He asked ever so quietly as his voice cracked slightly.

"I just went for a walk and coffee." I whispered back into his ear. He let out a long, deep sigh and brought his head up for me to see him. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and his cheeks were stained with tears.

"Don't ever scare me like that again y/n. Please." Mikey cried softly. I took my hand up to his face to wipe the tears off of his cheeks. "I was so afraid that you left for good, or that you were going to hurt yourself."

"Mikey, I promise you don't ever have to worry about that ever again." I said while walking him over to the couch. He sat down next to me but pulled me back into a tight embrace. 

"Good. Because I don't ever want to lose you." Mikey said into my shoulder. I clung onto the sides of his shirt to pull him in closer. We stayed like that for a few minutes until Mikey let out a small yawn.

"You should take a nap. You look exhausted." I said while looking up at him. His crying has stopped but his eyes are still red.

"Will you come with me?" He asked while rubbing the back of his neck.

"If you'd like." I said with a smile. We walked into his room and he laid straight down onto the bed. Right before I was about to join him, Gee knocked on the threshold.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" He asked me.

"Yeah sure." I replied. "I'll be back in a sec. Gee wants to talk."

"Mkay." Mikey said, already falling asleep.

I smiled and shut the door to give him privacy. Gerard was sitting at the kitchen table and motioned for me to sit next to him.

"Do you like Mikey?" Gee asked but quietly so Mikey wouldn't hear.

"Wow okay. Don't waste time with small talk." I laughed to try to buy time from answering that question.

"Y/n."

"I.. I-I really don't know. Maybe?" I responded.

Gee was silent for a moment before adding.

"He likes you." Gerard said while looking down. WaIT WHAT? 

"What?" I asked in shock. "How do you know?" 

"He gets emotional when he talks about you. He wouldn't stop worrying about you today. I can't remember the last time I saw him cry. He's never been emotional like that. You're one of the only people who can actually get him to smile y/n. He's got mad feelings for you. Hell, I'd even say he loves you n/n." Gerard said ending with a smile.

"Oh." is all I was able to say.

"I think you should go out with him." Gerard smiled.

"Really? Honestly, I always thought you kinda like me." I admitted.

"I do. It's just, you make Mikey really happy. Like, happier than I've ever seen him. And hes my little bro. I want him to be happy."

"That's really amazing of you Gee." I smiled while getting up. I kissed him on the cheek before walking back to Mikey's room. He just smirked.

"Save those for my brother!" Gee called after me. I laughed and shook my head.

Opening Mikey's door, I notice that he's still asleep. I cuddle in next to him in bed and let him wrap an arm around me and pull me close to him. Once I'm sure he's asleep, I whispered something that would change everything.

"I love you Mikey." I said as I felt myself fall asleep in his arms.

~Mikey's POV~ 

I felt y/n climb in bed next to me so I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close to my chest. I waited until I thought that she was asleep to fall asleep. I like making sure shes okay and safe before I let my guard down to sleep. All though instead of falling asleep, she whispered four words that made my heart almost stop.

"I love you Mikey." y/n whispered before falling asleep. It took me a second to get my thoughts straight before answering. 

"I love you too y/n."
