In Zayn's Pillowtalk video, there is a memorable (if slightly awkward) image where a woman opens her legs to reveal... a flower. So far, so clichéd (for example, the painter Georgia O'Keeffe used this imagery decades ago}. The flower is a lily, thus the connection between lilies and women or sleeping with / loving women (heterosexual love) is made.
This idea is reinforced elsewhere. For example, in Harry's song Woman, he refers to the woman in question as "you flower, you feast".
The cover of Harry's album, released a year after the Pillowtalk video, shows him in pink water, which is strewn with (among other things) dead flowers. Front and centre is a dead lily. The message being: this kind of love (heterosexual love) is dead for him. He is saying that he was reborn with the Zarry relationship (lotus – rebirth – and note that the lotus on the album cover is made of gold – one of the most enduring substances known to man. The lily has faded but the lotus will survive). The message is clear: Harry's relationships with women have been transient – the dead lily - but his relationship with Zayn, on the other hand, is eternal – the gold lotus flower.
