A Sudden Twist of Fate [A GruVia Fanfic]

Chapter 1

'Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop'

I chanted in my mind as I walk around in the puddle of mud. I've been walking around all over the Fiore, carrying my blue parasol in my right hand.

Everyone stares at me whenever I pass through, who would dare not to turn their head if they notice a rain above my head? Hmm.

I walk silently as I glance around the new town, I was gotten here accidentally when I was thrown off by my own storm from the north. Weird, isn't it? I don't know why I was there from the very first place, all I could remember is that I'm following a particular man and ask me to create a rain, but unfortunately, I suddenly made a storm that wipe all of us out and I just woke up at the bank of a river, just knowing myself.

'Everything here looks so familiar..' I thought as I look at the big store with a huge heart on it. I walk inside and look around.

"Hey, Juvia-chan!! I got a new love potion!! Wanna buy?" yelled the vendor from the counter.

"Err... Why do I need a Love potion?" I ask as I made a weird face. I mean, what am I going to do with a love potion?

"Oh my!" the vendor slight shouted seems like he was surprise by something.

"I-is that really you? Juvia-chan?" the vendor ask. I slowly nod my head while still looking at him with a weird face.

"Yes, it's me.. Why do you ask?"

"N-no, it can't be!" he snapped. "You're talking in first person and you refuse to buy the newest love potion in town!! I-it can't be you!"

he stammered as he thrust his arms towards me. I backed up a little and made a stance, I will surely defeat anyone who will get into my way!

"Juvia-chan.. Why did you change?!" then he burst out crying. I stood straight and comforted him. I don't know why I am so loved here in this place but I know, in my past, I used to come here.

"I'm sorry" I whispered as I put my hand in his shoulder. He wipe his tears and look at me teary-eyed.

"Tell me everything! Juvia-chan!" I stood aback and parted my lips and it formed into a faint smile.

I started my story and.......

(After 2 hours)

"..... and that's it. Somehow, I manage to recover my identity and I'm very thankful for that." I.finished my story as I slump in the chair tiredly. I also ask his name and for another miracle-- I remembered him! Oh, I'm getting excited to know myself more.

I bid farewell and continue my wandering when I bump into a pink-haired man, who is running hurriedly with his hands full of foods. I saw him stand and offered his hand.

"I'm sorry, I never meant to run ov-- Oh! It's you Juvia-chan!!" he exclaimed with a very big grin. I tilted my head and trying myself to remember him.

"Natsuu~" a sweet call by a... cat? Seriously? Everything here might be so familiar but it's also weird in either way!

"Hey! Natsu wait up!!" a pretty blonde girl shouted behind him and a red haired-girl in armor came over with a fast pace.

Once they got closer, they all came with an immediate halt. Upon seeing their reactions, I knew they also know me from the past.

"Juvia, we've been looking all over for you!" the red haired girl said, I tilted my head and put my hands behind my back. I think for a little and began accessing my memories inorder to remember them-- but no avail, I just can't.

"Why? Why are you looking for me?" I ask as I face the red haired girl. Her face stiffened and lock her eyes to me.

'Something's not right' I thought.

"You aren't Juvia..." she stated with a deep voice and thrust her sword to my neck. I stood frozen and look at the tip of her sword that barely touch my skin.

"Who are you?" She ask again in a deep voice. I swallowed my remaining saliva and replied;

"I am Juvia Lockster, a Water mage..." I pause as I back up a little and made my battle position.

"If you allow me to question back, then I shall ask you.. Who are you?" I raise my hand and a water projected behind my back. I had enough with her heavy talk, it's not appropriate to point your sword to a stranger.

She slowly put down her sword and face her allies with a worried look, the pink guy stood infront of me with a bewildered face.

"Hey, Juvia-chan.. You know what will happen if you start joking around with Erza." He whispered then the flying cat nod beside him. I look at the girl named Erza, and she kept staring at me with a worried look. I glance back to the pink guy and ask;

"Who are you, by the way? I hate it when someone is talking to me that I don't know." he look at me and blinked several times, he slowly step backwards and rush to the blonde girl and to... Erza.

"This is serious, Lucy go talk to her!" I heard him says, the blonde girl nodded and approach me, which I heard her name as Lucy.

"Hey, Juvia-chan.. Do you know me?" she ask happily, I shook my head hard and answered 'No'. Her face broke down literally and began throwing words that I'm not really aware of.

She said she's my 'Love Rival' but by the look of it, it seems really impossible! I don't like pink especially if it's hair color.

"Ne... Juvia, If you really don't know each one of us. Then you might as well know Gray Fullbuster." Erza said softly with her hands placed on her hips. I look at her with a weird face and ask who is this 'Gray Fullbuster' Is he really that important that they always use that name against me?

"Gray Fullbuster... Who is he anyway?" I ask plainly. Their eyes widened and shook their heads full of dismay.

"One more time guys.." Lucy whispered that I barely heard. They all nodded and shouted in unison.

"GRAY FULLBUSTER!! YOUR HUSBAND!!!" I blinked my eyes several times and my mouth hang open.

"Alright! It worked!!" Natsu yelled as he thrust his ignited fist upright. I slowly recover from their sudden shout, but I shook my head and buried it in my hands.

"Why can't I remember each one of you?" I mumbled. Lucy sat beside me and held my hand

"What happened to you Juvia-chan?" she ask. I heave deeply and began telling my story.
