(y/n)'s POV
"I don't know Em, you know I hate parties," I said, poking my earring through my piercing.
"I'm in frickin' London for one more day and you won't go to a party with me? Just this once?" This was true. Emma was visiting from New York. It had been a few years since we graduated and it was nice to see her again.
"How do you even know where any parties are? You don't even live here," I commented and she huffed.
"Remember that Tyler guy? He dmed me on twitter and invited us."
"A dm?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. Tyler, who we had met in a small coffee shop nearby, was extremely energetic and had a contagious laugh. He was visiting from California and joined us for coffee.
"He's gayer than gay," she commented. "And so am I. Please?" I looked over at her puppy dog eyes and I let out a groan.
"Okay, fine, but I'm bringing Adam," I said.
"Adam the party pooper? Great."
"Hey, don't trash talk my boyfriend," I said, hitting her arm.
"Fine. But now we can do this to celebrate your new job!!" I had moved back to England after a team of screenwriters took me in and now I was working for a new movie. "You actually work for an actual movie!!"
"I thought that was why we went out for coffee," I said as she followed me to my room. She shrugged and started rummaging through my wardrobe for an outfit. "Wait, is this a fancy party? I don't have to dress up right?"
Emma peered around her shoulder with a guilty look on her face. I glared at her and flopped back on my bed, texting Adam.
