Just putting this out there- The two drawings are the exact same image. The drawing is supposed to have a transparent background, hiding the white details of the drawing until you drag it over something darker; but because Wattpad doesn't like transparent images, I had to do two versions. One with a white background, and one with the regular transparent. This drawing was inspired heavily from the song "My Time" by Bo En. A song originally supposed to be about sleep, but is now synonyms with the concept of suicide and self harm. Ah, misinterpretation. How you warp everything you touch. The other inspiration I had for this was a game called OMORI, detailing a boy who's stuck in this world called "White Space". He knows there is life outside of White Space, but can't remember anything other than that. A simple white void with a single black lightbulb. So far, there's only a demo for the game out, which was released earlier this year; but there is also a mini webcomic on Tumblr made by the creators of the game - as well as a comic explaining a bit about the true nature of Omori's neighbors. As soon as I saw it, I was hooked. X3 If you have time, I highly urge you to go check it out. Is is absolutely amazing. Although, the game is a physiological horror rpg, so if you're squeemish around those types of things, tread lightly.
