Corruption - When a Pokémon's physical form changes and mutates when in contact with a certain stone that shares the same aura. This transformation warps and distorts a Pokémon mind and body, causing rapid changes that may be painful when caused improperly. While most commonly seen as a sharing of strength and aura between a Pokémon and its trainer, showing both have truly bonded, the phenomenon can occur in the wild without use of a frequency regulator - or Key Stone. Without use of the frequency regulator, the form of the Pokémon becomes unstable and uncontrollable, causing their emotions to become heightened and volatile, even when the corruption is not taking process and the Pokémon is only within close proximity with the catalyst. Pokémon undergoing corruption will often lash out through pain and anger, and seem to have no control over their actions, becoming a completely different individual. The stronger the Pokémon naturally is, the worse the repercussions of the transformation are, and the harder it is to fight. This process is commonly know as Mega Evolution among humans.

I promise I'll update CDC soon, I have been keeping up with it, but in the meantime... let's look at this, shall we? A bit of a rough sillouetted design for my dear reaper child's mega evolution. At least, his untamed one, since neither he nor Crestalre - or even any of the deltas - possess a key stone. I've finally figured out what I want it to look like, at least somewhat. I'm currently working on working out the details of it, as well as laying down colors, so be expecting to see that soon. Right now, though, it... kinda looks like a mess. ^^'

I haven't finished the one for myself, but I'm including it anyway. With the possibility of sharing Twelve Realms in the future, I thought I would start posting more about its storyline and characters. So, let's start with this. The trio of heroes. The mural is not cannon at the moment, seeing as I made these as Christmas presents for Illa and Saph, but we'll have to see. I took heavy inspiration from Steven Universe and the Diamonds Mural that is found within the moon base for this project. Both in style and posing. I've had a lot of fun with this project so far, and I'll probably end up doing mural images of other characters in the near future. Whether it's more from Twelve Realms, or simply my friends' characters, I'm sure I'll be coming back to something like this eventually. Consider the three like a... trial run. :3
