Chapter 27

“How’s the happy couple?” Brook asks smiling

“We’re not happy at all.” I say trying to hold in the tears. She stares at me and then looks at Colin with a stare that could kill.

“Have you been crying?” Andrew asked Brook clears her throat and stares at him he nods and looks down.

“No Im fine.” I say taking in deep breaths

“Are you sure? You look like-”

“She said she’s fine.” Colin said interrupting Andrew

“You don't have to be rude.” I could tell she was getting annoyed “But on another note look what the store next to the place had.” She says holding up a bottle of I think it was tequila.

“You brought a bottle?” I ask smiling

“You said to bring whatever looked good.” I laugh but take it from her hands and drink as much as I can. its gross and burns like hell but I push that aside and take another swing. “Woah Brie chill save some for the rest.” Brook said pulling the bottle away from my grip

“No just a little more.” I whine she hesitates but knows Ima need more and hands it back to me, shes the best. I hand it back to her and

“Don't get too out of control we aren’t allowed to have alcohol here.” She says taking a sip.

“Why are you so quiet?” I ask looking towards Andrew he smiles and shrugs. I laugh and now I’m feeling better than before.

“Colin what would make you think me and Andrew had a thing if he’s the one telling me we should date?” I ask surprising myself with the sudden boost of confidence. He ignores me and turns to look at the water “Aye and why would I not want to be with you after everything thats happened.” I say loudly slurring my words. He shakes his head “No no don't shake your head use you're freaking words tell me you were all confident when we were alone.” I say

“Brie stop.”

“Oh wow now you want me to stop I bet if they weren’t here you’d be different.”

“If they weren’t here and you hadn’t drunk that you’d be crying.”

“Yeah I probably would have cuz you're always such an asshole to me and I put up with it but guess what sweetie everyone has a breaking point.” Wow that was good thank god for tequila it really is a girls bestfriend. He’s really pissing me off either that or the drinking most likely both.

“Can you just drop it?” He asked annoyed I rolled my eyes

“Sure just like always.” I look at Brook and she seems a bit lost and Andrew is just their looking around “Wanna go in the water?” I ask looking at Brook and Andrew. They nod and I stand and kind of wobble Colin stretches his hand to steady me by my waist . I look down at him and shake out of his grip. I wait  for them to get up and Brook helps me walk without falling. I get in and Andrew follows its cold and I stop to try and get used to it. Andrew bumped into me making me fall forward. I started laughing and he picked me up I was bleeding from my nose quite a bit normal it was just getting better from it being broken at least it wasn’t bruised but probably will be after this . He wiped some of it off and lead me back to our spot making me lay down

“What happened?” Colin asked worriedly

“Oh I accidently bumped into her and she fell.” Andrew said cleaning up the blood

“Why don't you watch where you're going?” Kap asked a little mad

“Oh god calm down like you care.” I say sitting up making the bleeding worse
