With the Polka Dot Badge in hand, Skylar Turquoise continued her adventure with her Shulpy and Electran. Route 3 was her next destination, same with Crystalline Cave.
A couple of pokemon battles awaited her along the way, but the raven headed girl didn't mind, she was a pokemon trainer now after all. Her Shulpy had gotten quite strong, the little guy being right around level 16. Same with her Electran, who was around level 14.
Sky's mind was on evolution, considering that most starter pokemon evolve around the level her Shulpy is. The spiky haired girl bumped into someone, immediately recognizing the person by their honey blondish hair.

It was Sky's best friend, Amber. Her bright vermilion eyes sparkling with excitement. "Hey Sky!" The fiery honey blonde chirped, greeting her friend. "Hello to you too Amber~!" Sky gave her friend a small gentleman bow, her turquoise visor magically disappearing from her head.
"Glad I ran into you! I wanted a tough battle, but all these trainers didn't stand a chance against my team. Wanna battle, Sky?" Amber asked, a determined expression decorating her face. "You're on-" "HEY EVERYONE!"

A familiar raven headed run towards them, his electric yellow eyes sparkling from joy, while he waved both of his hands. "Hey Jolt!" Sky greeted her cousin, receiving a "Hey cuz!" from the boy. Amber's face turned a very faint shade of red, "H-Hi!" She stuttered.
"I couldn't help overhearing that you two were about to battle? Can Verpi and I watch?" Jolt chuckled, pointing towards a small bug type pokemon that was relaxing on his shoulder. "'Verpi, huh?" Sky questioned, taking out her Pokedex.
