Once Caitlin felt fully rested, and full enough to last a few hours, she and Barry left for town. As they walked up the same apartment building that Caitlin had her very informing family reunion, they heard alarming sounds from behind the slightly opened door.

"Professor Hugo Strange?!" Thomas yelped as he was thrown to the ground, "I thought you were dead!"

"Oh to the contrary Thomas," he replied devilishly, "Let's keep this short, I need more shipments. If you don't give them, well then I think you know what will happen," he finished taking a knife out his pocket.

"Like I'd give them to you, plus I stopped making those years ago. It's over Strange, Bruce handled everything," Thomas replied.

"Ugh," Strange scoffed, "that boy ruined everything, his father was a nuisance, I maybe I just have problems with Thomases," he joked holding a knife up to Thomas's throat, "I may have nothing now, but just you wait-" he was suddenly cut off by Charlie entering the room blasting Hugo with a sheet of ice, knocking him on the floor.

"The boy!" Hugo groaned in pain, "you look just like your father."

"Shut up!" Charlie replied.

Hearing the chaos, Caitlin gave Barry a concerning look, causing him to cover her at her stomach as he entered first. Quickly, Barry ran over to Strange, who was still on the floor and knocked him out before tying him to a chair.

"Caitlin?" Thomas said surprised, as she ran over to his side helping him up. "You came back."

"Of course Uncle Thomas," Caitlin replied, hugging her uncle, happy that he wasn't hurt. Charlie and Barry stood by awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

Noticing the awkward silence and the new face that just ran in like lightning, Thomas asked, "Who's this?"

Pulling away Caitlin gestured for Barry to introduce himself.

"Oh," Barry began, putting his hand out to shake Thomas's, "I'm Barry, Caitlin's boyfriend."

"So you're the one who knocked up my niece..." he said sternly. Barry's face turned pale, not knowing how to reply. "I'm just kidding," he finally said, allowing Barry to let out his breath.

As Caitlin walked over to greet her brother, Thomas pulled Barry's hand roughly to whisper something in his ear. "I may not be a meta, but I swear if you hurt that little girl I will murder you,.speedster."

As he let go, Barry gave him an awkward smile and nodded, his eyes terrified.

"Bare," Caitlin said, "this is Charlie, my long lost brother."

Barry took his handshake and said, "Nice to meet you."

"You too," he responded, "weird that I missed out on that overprotective older brother stage of my life," he joked.

"Yeah," Barry let out a small laugh.

I think Thomas already has the overprotective Uncle thing covered, Barry thought.

"So who was that?" Caitlin changed the topic, pointing towards the bald man, with thick glasses, a short beard along the bottom of his face, in a lab coat.

"Someone from your father and I's past," Thomas replied, "nothing you have to worry about Caity," he said placing the memory wiper on his head. "Once his memories are wiped of us and any affiliation we had with your father, we're safe, finally."

Before Thomas could switch the helmet on, Strange stirred awake.

"Huh? Hmmm. What the hell! How?" He said regaining consciousness.

"You're finally done with your crap Strange," Thomas said.

"What? No!" Strange began panicking.

"Wait, stop!" Caitlin interrupted. Everyone looked at her, she got an especially odd look from Strange.

"Cait, what are you doing?" Barry whispered.

"I want to know," she started, "what did my father do that was so secretive? How does he know you?"

"Caity, it's all over now. It doesn't matter," Thomas said, trying to prevent Caitlin's image of her father be ruined.

"No I want to know," Caitlin said sternly, indicating she wouldn't take no as an answer.

"She's right uncle Thomas," Charlie joined in, "it's time she knows the truth about dad."

"Wait," Strange interrupted, "he did have another child, the girl..."

"Shut up!" Thomas yelled, kicking Strange.

"How do you know about me?" Caitlin asked.

"Darling, your father was a man of mysteries. Make sense for someone with one hundred years of history," Strange began explaining, "he wasn't always a good man, as for example his time in Gotham City."

"What did he do in Gotham?" Caitlin asked. From what she was told about her father is that he was born and raised in Ohio, but then again a lot of things she thought about her father were wrong.

"Well," he started, smiling, "he helped me make monsters. But of course, he sided with that idiot Wayne when they started worrying about what the media might think. Cowards," he scoffed.

"Elijah and Wayne wanted to stop you from hurting innocent people, you're the real monster," Thomas hit Strange once again.

"Yes, and they failed," Strange replied cockily.

"And look at you now," Charlie came back at him, causing him to shut up, "brought down by an orphan."

"I may have failed at my plan, but your father created even colder monsters," Strange said, causing Charlie to grip him by the neck as his eyes turned blue and Caitlin to clench her fist.

Noticing, Barry slipped his hand into hers holding it tight, making her feel a bit warmer.

"What did you just call us?!" Charlie gritted his teeth.

"Charlie," Thomas said calmly, diverting chaos.

Regaining his temper, Charlie put Strange down, his eyes returning to their previous state.

"Weak," Strange scoffed before Charlie knocked him unconscious, and walked away.

Thomas turned on the helmet erasing his memory of anything associated with the Snows.

"Caity, you think your speedster boyfriend could bring him back to New York?" Thomas asked.

Caitlin looked at Barry and he nodded, Thomas then gave Barry a slip with an address on it and he sped away with Strange.

"I'll be back soon," he said before he left.

Before Thomas said anything else he dropped the tape of memories on the ground and crushed it. "Well, you know about your father now..." he said to Caitlin.

"Yeah," she paused thinking, "although he may not be the person I thought he was, he did protect me from whatever he had to handle in Gotham and Strange. Though not in the most pleasing way, he's my dad, and he tried. I still love him."

Thomas smiled, putting a hand on Caitlin's shoulder.

Hearing loud thuds from down the hallway again, they knew it was Charlie.

Giving eachother a tacit look, they nodded and Caitlin went to talk to her brother.
