"Ally, what's on your wrists?" Asked Mrs. Edington.

"Umm... When I was climbing in the tree earlier I got a few scratches on my arm, why?"

"Just wondering, and I know it's late but we have a young couple looking to adopt, and they would like to talk to you because you are the only one in the age group that they are wanting to adopt!" She said with a little bit of excitement in her voice.

" Ok." I said in a annoyed tone.

I grabbed my penny board out of the corner underneath my bed and, made my way to the talking room. A.K.A many wasted minutes where I can be listing to music. But I went inside and sat down. I looked at the door and waited for them to come in.

Finally a Blonde haired boy and a dark brown haired girl came in. They sat down across from me. I looked up at them finally and the boy said "Hey, I'm Sam and this is Kat!"

"Hi, I'm ally," I said giving them a small smile.

After we talked for a while Sam asked me to do something that I always had dreaded. Pulling my sleves up. I pulled up my right one, which I know had no cuts.

"Ok, can you pull up your left sleeve?" He asked.

I pulled up my left one and there were fresh and old cuts. I seen him and Kat look up and they came over and gave me a hug.

After a little while of them chatting they looked at Mrs. Edington and told her that I was the one they wanted. So Mrs. Edington told me to go pack, and Sam asked if he could go with me for some reason.

So I headed up stairs and showed Sam my room.

"Wow, you don't have very much stuff, do you?" He asked.

"Nope." I replied looking around my room.

Sam walked over to my bed and sat down.

"Ally," he said patting to spot beside him on the bed "come here."

I walked over as my heart began to beat out of my chest.

"Can you pull up your sleeves for me?" he asked.

"Again?" I asked.

"Yes please, my friend used to cut.." he said.

I pulled up my left sleeve. I could see sam's eyes scan over the cuts.

I looked down, and sam  gave me a big hug. I started crying. I couldn't help it, it just happened...
