I look at (Y/N) to see her hair covering her eyes. Looking outside the window her head tilting on the glass.

She seems so lost I hate seeing her like this it just pains me. Everyone is already asleep while us two are still awake.

I know she isn't feeling better from yesterday I would be sad also if I couldn't remember anything from my past

"Meadow..." (Y/N) whispered

"Are you okay?" I asked

She looked at me her hair covering those perfect (E/C)

"Not really... but I just remembered something." (Y/N) said

"Really? What?" I asked

"My exceed... her name was Meadow." (Y/N)

"Where is she?" I asked her smile dropped into a frown I regret asking

"Um..." (Y/N) said and bit her lower lip "She died protecting me." (Y/N) said

I wrapped my arm around her "I'm sorry for your loose." I said

"It's fine." She looked out the window "It's not your fault she's gone."

"You know it's not your fault either." I said her eyes grew wide "Yeah I can tell you blame yourself for her death." I said she sighed

"I do..." She said

"Well you don't have to.... she protected you because she wanted to. Trust me I have been through the same thing." I said

"Really?" She asked I nodded

"I had a master her name was Ur she taught me ice make magic. One day there was an incident and Ur... had no choice but to use a ice shield with her power around she saved my life but one day the ice melted and she floats in the sea." I said

"I'm sorry about that." She said

I managed to give her a faint smile "It's fine. Not your fault but my point is they did what they had to so we could live on in life." I said she slowly nodded

"Your right." She said

"Hey you feeling better about yesterday?"
I asked

"Um... a bit thanks to you." She said as she gave me a faint smile silence took her us

"Hey.... Gray?" She asked

"Hmm..." I said

"Do you hate me?" She asked

I looked at her with disbelief "What?! No of course not!" I said

"Really?" She asked

"Yes. I do have a right to hate you and all... but I can't bring myself to it no matter how much I try." I said and I regretted saying that

"Oh." She looked out the window

"Sorry I didn't mean it like- but what I said was true I can't bring myself to hate you." I said

She turned her gaze towards me "It's like every time I see you or hear your voice it just calms me and I get these weird feeling when I think of you or see you." I said

"I'm glad I could make you feel that way Gray." She said

We both started to lean in close I felt her breathe on my lips. I saw as she blushed and looked away to the window

"I uh- think I need rest." She said without looking at me I blushed at the thought of us almost kissing

"Yeah yeah uh- goodnight." I said awkwardly What the hell was I thinking? It's barely noon! she let out a soft chuckle before she fell asleep
