Chapter Three
Hailey's POV

Arriving at the hall we all take a seat in our classes, the eight of us sitting on the same row again.

As we wait we talk amongst ourselves, wanting to know about this announcement that had to tell us.

"Good morning seniors, we have an important guest here to talk to you about a problem at hand," Mr Clark, the Principle spoke to us. A youngish male walked up to him and started to speak.

"Morning, my name is Daniel. And I am here at Orlando high, to talk to you about a project what we have called 'The Generation Project' which everyone who is a senior will take part in.

This project will be to create a new generation, a real generation-" someone cuts him off behind me.

"Are you saying that you're gonna get us pregnant!" She shouts her voice filled with anger.

"Yes, yes I am. If you have noticed the population has dropped, and the ones who are alive, only a small percentage are fully healthy. So we are doing this project to create a healthy generation." Before he could continue about the horrible news, the same girls shout up again.

"You just want us to get fat!" She says, now crying.

"No we aren't, we are doing this to help the Americans population out. And we have already paired you all with your compatible partner, your partner being the most compatible as we could achieve." I looked at Theo, what if we weren't together? We have been together for four years nearly; I can't get pregnant with someone I don't love.

Before Daniel could carry on, I grabbed onto Theo's hand, wanting to hold it for as long as I could. He squeezes my hand, trying to calm me down. "To pair you all up we need you all to stand up and walk to the back of the hall, and when your name has been called, you and your partner please take a seat together." As soon as he finished speaking he then turns around and grabs some paper, which I'm guess has all our names on.

Mr Clark, our principle, then tells us to do as Daniel had said. Making us all stand at the back of the hall. Still hand in hand with Theo, we wait patiently to have our names called.

"Georgia Adams and Logan White" the first pair is named, and the two of them take a seat together in silence. Georgia is a girl who hardly talks, as does Logan, so they are a good match you could say, but it's still got to be uncomfortable.

"Carter Burns and Jade Collins" I look over at Jade, her face showing that she was distraught that she was paired up with him. Carter being one of those bad boys, who were also a football player, but our bad boys weren't your typical ones. The difference of our bad boys to the typical ones is that they don't date, they don't sleep around our high school, and they just go to other schools and break those girls' hearts instead. Carter had five friends, who also are bad boys, as well as football players like him. I watch Jade and Carter walk to their seat, next to Georgia and Adams.

"Megan Evans and Elliot Murphy" Megan looked shocked at who she was paired up with, Elliot being Megan's crush since like freshmen year.

"Bella Jackson and Jaidon King" Jaidon, or Jai as he likes to be called, is another one of the bad boys, him being friends with Carter.

"Hailey Jones" as soon as my name is said, I hold onto Theo's hand a little harder, hoping his name would be called next. "And Dylan Knight" I reluctantly let go of Theo's hand, a tear slipping down my cheeks as I sit down next to Bella, Dylan sitting down on the other side of me. As you could tell I wasn't happy that I got paired with Dylan Knight, as after all he is another one of the six bad boys, I didn't want to have to have a baby with a bad boy.

The following paired get called, them also sitting down as well. Some of them get paired up with the other bod boys. A few of which I hear even though I wasn't really listening.

"Luke King and Harriet Smith" Luke being another bad boy, and Harriet showing that she was also annoyed that her partner.

"Ethan Marsh and Callie Murray"

"James Middleton and Olivia Taylor" I felt bad for Ethan and James has they had to deal with the queen bees' minions.

"Beau Parker and Emily Walker"

"Theo Sutton and" Theo could be with the queen bee herself or Iris, one of my friends. I hope for his sake, he gets paired up with Iris. "-Iris Winters" I sigh with relief, happy Theo got to be with a good friend of mine. I just hope it makes it easier that they will be having a baby together.

"And that leaves Harper Webb and Thomas Williams" as soon as he finished with the pairing he then begins to tell us some more news.

"You and your partner will be taken to your new home, unless you live on your own, or can afford yourself to pick a new home. We will five those students two days to find a home for themselves and if you don't then you will be put into a home that I have found." He starts, and I notice that Dylan pulls out his phone and begins to type something before sending it.

"My father sells houses, so he can find one, he knows what I like. But we can look to see what we think after school" Dylan whispers into my ear, his breath shiver. I hear him chuckle at my response, but I nod at him, trying to tell him okay.

"As we wait for those who can do that, the ones who cannot will be taken to a house that you will have to live in with your partner until after a year of having the baby. Unless you want to stay together." He says as he flips over the paper in his hand.

"Can you please line up in two lines, one having the pairs that will be looking for houses and the rest in the other line." Dylan stands up and makes his way to the first line, us getting their first. As the others were talking to see if they could afford to buy a house.

"You two can go home then, you have until Wednesday night to tell me if you have found a house or not. Here is my number to call me when you know" I nod and take the piece of paper out of his hand and we both walk out of the hall and to the exit of school.

"Have you got a car?" I nod my head at Dylan. "You can dive then, I got a lift from Carter" nodding again, I walk to my car, unlocking it and jumping in, Dylan does the same but he gets in the passenger seat. As soon as we are buckled in I leave school.

"Where should I go?" I ask him, my voice sounding quieter than usual. Dylan tells me the directions and we pull up onto a long drive, outside a massive white house, I am guessing it is his home.
