I'm getting ideas for this book faster than i thought. Lol. Anyways though, i hope you guys enjoy this chapter! :D And i'm hoping for many reads on this though....i guess it's because this is a new book but it will pull through.

Chapter 1: Working as a team

LUCY'S POV

Natsu explained everything to Happy and I, as we sat on the beds at the inn. The creature made a sound like a human, and he managed to burn one of them to reveal something shiny. I believe it was metal. And the animal that made the sound had a faster and quicker thinking than the others.

Natsu wasn't as dense as i thought he would be.

"Hey! Lucy!" he exclaimed.

"Sorry. That slipped out." i said, covering my mouth.

"The animals sound like robots!" exclaimed Happy. He was right. They could be robots being controlled to attack this city. But then why was one specific creature....similiar to a human?

"But the one that snuck up on me...." trailed off Natsu.

"He was different. We know that for sure. But could he have possibly be a human being?" i asked.

"He could have, like the ringleader or something. You know?" explained Happy. He started fighting with Natsu for fish and i needed peace to think so i hit him before sitting down.

"You're right. Okay, let's make this assumption. The one that went behind Natsu was the leader, the controller, and the others were basically following him. Understand?" i explained, breaking it down in the simplest way possible for Natsu.

He nodded his head, and so did Happy.

"Good. So if we take him down, we take the controller, the brain for the pack. If by some chance they're still moving, Happy and i would be around the area seeing if there's another one, an accomplice. So Natsu, you would be responsible for all this." i said.

"I get it. So you're depending on me for this?" he asked cheekily.

"Kind of, but if the one you take out wasn't important, you'll be depending on Happy and I." i replied smartly. The moon outside got brighter. We still heard the city folk, as they began cleaning and some went back on their normal routine.

"Well i'm gonna take a shower now." i said, getting up and taking extra clothes.

"Can i come with you?" asked Natsu. Happy snickered.

"Why?"

"Because i always take baths with you Luce. Plus, we save water."

"No."

"You're so mean...."

I sighed at his failed attempts and closed the bathroom door behind me, locking it of course. You can never tell with that damn pervert. I began to strip, and entered the hot water. After cleaning with the soap and stuff, i stepped out, only to realise that my clothes are gone.

My eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

"NATSU!" I yelled. I heard tumbling outside before i opened it, a towel wrapped around my body and entered the room.

"I opened the lock!" he said proudly, showing me his fingers.

"Good news, now give it." i said, stretching my hands out.

"Give what?" he asked.

"My clothes."

"Happy has them. He flew outside. He probably won't come back for awhile cause i gave em money and he has all the clothes you brought." he said. NO. Happy has all my clothes! That means i'm stuck here with Natsu and in only a towel. This is bad.
