Annie's POV:
We were walking around having a good time together. I could tell that Johnny was really enjoying himself. I kept looking over at John and he had a smile on his face the entire time.i started to get a little bit hungry.
A- John, I'm getting kind of hungry.
JO- okay that's fine, lets go get some lunch.
A- but I don't want to leave the park yet..
JO- Annie we can go eat and come back
A- oh okay.
We got in the car and started to drive to a local sandwich shop.
JO- okay what do you want, hungry girl?
A- I want a club sandwich and a lemonade
Johnny looked over to the cashier
JO- can I get two club sandwiches, a lemonade, and a sprite
Cashier- okay your total is $13.68
A- John, you don't have to pay for mine..
JO- Annie. Its okay, I'm paying for your food.
Johnny handed the cashier the money and she looked at him
Cashier- well cutie is that your girlfriend?
I could tell that Johnny felt uncomfortable in this situation because I wasn't his girlfriend and he didn't know what to say.
JO- um.. no?
Cashier- well here's my number. Maybe after my shift we can hang out.. my place.
JO- um...
I.. I stepped up so that I was facing the cashier.
A- He's not interested and we would appreciate if you just gave us our food. Thank you.
The cashier didn't even say a word. She just viciously handed me our food and we walked to a table.
JO- well someone was jealous back there.
A- I was not.
JO- Annie you were sooooo jealous!!
A- whatever. I was just saving you.
I look down. I was mad that Hayden for saying I was jealous.. but he was right. I was jealous and I don't know why. It's not like I was his girlfriend but for some reason I was jealous. Next thing I know Johnny got up from across the table and sat beside me and put an arm around me.
JO- Annie you know that I'm just messing with you. I like the fact that you care about me. It's sweet.
A- really?
JO- yes.. but that cashier woman is staring at us so let's go.
A- okay.
We got back in Johnny's car and we drove back to the amusement park
