Today was the first day of school..summer has just ended and I'm 17 years old an senior in school . My birthday is March 15th and I have an best friend named Hailey , we've been friends since kindergarten and I can say that she hasn't done anything bad to lose my trust against her..I love her a lot , But she's coming to pick me up right now because I don't have an car and sometimes I ride the bus when she isn't available to come get me . My parents are very overprotective and old fashioned , I can't have an  boyfriend either until I get older..and the only person I'm allowed to hang around is Hailey , but  she just came and picked me up from the house and we made it to school and just came upon campus ..everyone has been talking about this new boy that's coming to the school this year , some people claim that they already know him..even Hailey was talking about it

"girl you know there's an new boy coming to school today ..they say he dark skin with waves and he fine as hell , i can just imagine him" she told me

"well i wouldn't , because I really don't care." i said walking into the school building

"girl whatever ." she said as she rolled her eyes

"come on , we need to see what our classes are this year." i said

"okay , I'm going to the office." She said as she walked away leaving me

"great" i mumbled sitting down on one of the benches waiting on her to come back with our schedules then some tall boy had came up to me and asked me something

"can you help me?" he asked me

"are you new here?" i asked furrowing my eyebrows

"actually i am new , but i asked for help ." he said

"well i don't have to help you since you're getting an attitude .." i rolled my eyes and walked off .

"wait , im sorry ..but help me for real for real , ion know where the fuck this class is." he said seriously

"i ain't even got my schedule yet , but ive been going to this school since my freshman year so what classes do you have?" i asked him then my bestfriend had came over and handed me my classes .

"here go your schedul- oh who's this?" she said

"i ain't even get his name , he came over here asking fa help but what's your name?" i asked the boy

"my name is jayden..and i ain't get your name either.."

"it's aliyah , but shouldn't we be getting to class ..its the first day of school & ion wanna be late..so what classes do you have first?" i asked him quickly

"i got chemistry ." he said , then i looked at my paper and saw that i had that first period too .

"woah , i have that too ..hailey what you got?" i asked her

"aw man..i have geometry" she scoffed

"oh okay , well me and him are gonna head to class..see you later" i smiled and waved .

"bye girl" she said walking away

"okay umm..i think we should get to class." i said telling him then walking off . i think this was the boy who hailey was describing to me earlier ..he looks really familiar though , like ive known him longer than today ...

*flashback*

"jayden come here.." i sniffled crying

"what liyah" he said running over to me

"i scrapped my knee and it hurts ." i said holding my knee

"its going to be okay bestfriend ...that little ass cut ain't nothing" he told me
