Hurt?

No!

"I'll just leave." she said, too quiet and left the clinic.

She can't be hurt. I didn't offend her. She was just acting. Right? I groaned and muttered a word I never said before.

"Damn."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was lunch and she didn't eat with us. It's just the four of us. Julie, Mia, Danny and I.
The three were all engrossed in a conversation. I believe it's something about boys.
I'm contemplating if Danny is even straight.
Glancing at my food, I couldn't help but remember what happened awhile ago.
Lunch was finished and classes started again. Luckily, I was able to concentrate on the professor's discussion.
Then, it was dismissal time. I braced myself, preparing to see her.
I was walking with Mia and Danny, then Julie arrived.
With her.
We had a short eye contact, but quickly faded.
"Julie. Um, I have to go. I need to get home..." she bid hastily and walked away before any of us could stop her.
What have I done?
Why do I feel guilty?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I can't sleep.

A picture of Delilah's frown kept flashing in my mind.

Me and my big mouth.

That's why I don't talk much.

I tossed and turned as her words kept replaying in my mind. "Ugh."

I can't sleep.

Good thing, today is Friday. I groaned and sat up.

Glancing at the clock that says 1am, and idea entered my mind.

Maybe reading a book would tire me.

So I did.

By 2:30, I was tired and fell asleep quickly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Samson Anderson!" my sister shouted at me.
"What?" I gave her the look, but she didn't back away.
"I've been calling your name for ages." Shane said, emphasizing the last word.
Oh, Damn.
I stopped frowning and sighed. "What do you want?"
She shrugged. "Just checking on you. You look like you're in deep thought. What is it?" she said, sitting beside me on the bench.
We are currently in the garden. I was actually reading a book, but not a word processed in my mind.
I ignored her and continued reading, until she took it from me.
"Shane. Give it back." I said in deep voice, perfectly mimmicking our dad's voice, hoping she would do what I say.
She rolled her eyes. "Just because you sound like dad, I'll obey you?" she scoffed. "Heck no!"
Damn. Atleast one can hope.
"Seriously, bro. What's wrong?" she asked, placing her hand on my shoulder.
I looked away from her. "Nothing. Leave me alone."
From the corner of my eye, I can see a smirk form on her face. "I know you, my dear brother. There's something wrong and I know it. You're even reading a book upside down."
I did? Am I that obvious.
Dang it.
She sighed when I didn't give an answer. "If you want to talk, you could approach me, but I doubt that. You have too much pride."
I already know that! Damn.
In fact, I already offended someone and I can't even apologize.
Damn.
Why do I keep cursing? I can't stop since...
Damn.
What's wrong with me? I don't know why I keep cursing.
Is it because of Delilah?
Damn!
Why can't I stop. Dammit!
Here I go again.
Damn. I'm screwed.
