NEW SCHOOL
I went to my first class.
"Sorry I'm late." I said as I entered and disturbed the class going on.
The lady looked at me. "You're late. Well, you must be the new student." she looked at me and smiled. "Please take your seat."
"Here! Samson!" the redheaded lady in the bus said. She's Mia.
That noisy girl again?
Well, I don't have a choice
The teacher smiled sheepishly. "By the way, I'm Ms. Greene. Your history teacher. Please introduce yourself."
I placed my bag on beside Mia and went to front
"I'm Samson Anderson. I'm an American." I said and went to my seat.
Ms. Greene started teaching. We had a group work and we can choose our groupmates. Mia pulled, I mean dragged me to her groupmates.
The work was about historical events in the Philippines.
"What's ours?" Peter, my groupmate asked.
Mia read the paper. "The Death of Jose Rizal"
"We should really act on that." Ria said.
Mia looked at me. "How about you, Samson? What do you think?"
I nodded.
She shrugged at my response and they continued talking about the role play. They told me to make the script and do some research about it.
You will never regret assigning me to do that work.
History ended and Filipino came.
I was greeted by Ms. Quizon, and she gave me a flirty smile.
Slut.
I went to my seat and as soon as we're complete, she greeted us.
"Magandang Umaga" she said.
Good morning? I think.
"Magandang umaga Binibining Quizon" the whole class greeted though they did it having different accents.
Binibini? Now that I didn't know.
"Maupo kayo." she said.
"Salamat po." the class responded and take their seats.
Maupo kayo. Please take your seats. I'll keep that in mind.
"Before we start, I would like you to know, that we have a new student." Ms. Quizon said.
She looked me. "Please stand here in front and introduce yourself."
I obeyed and started talking. Then I went to my seat.
"Ok, Samson, since it's your first day, I would like to tell you the rules." she started.
I nodded and she proceeded.
"Speak only in Filipino in my class."
Only speak Filipino. Looks like I have to study for a new language again.
She continued. "Your homeworks must be writted and not printed. To prevent copy paste."
All assignment are written. I'm starting to like this teacher.
