"We were making out and lost track of time," Jaxon said and I glared at him. What was wrong with him?! Out of all the lies he could've picked, he chose that one?!

The classroom erupted into whispers and Audrey wiggled her eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes. Just great.

"We didn't." I defended myself.

Jaxon smirked, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "No, I'm not. You couldn't get enough of me."

It clicked in my head. The elevator...

He was half truthing again. I scoffed, walking to my seat. Every one of Jaxon's fangirls glared daggers at me. Especially Maddy. I'm pretty sure they all wanted me to drop dead.

Maybe I should've just hung out with Jaxon today instead...

Class finally ended and I got out of there as quickly as possible. I heard someone calling my name but, I kept walking.

"Slow down speedy!" I glanced over to see Mare jogging up to me. "Everything alright?"

"I'm fine." I smiled but, furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Why do you ask?"

She sighed. "Sean told me what happened between you two."

My heart dropped to my stomach and I stopped walking. I wasn't sure what to do. Run up to Sean and ask why did he tell her or run into the girl's bathroom to hideout for the rest of the day. My life was over. I couldn't show my face again.

Mare grabbed my shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile. "Trust me. I won't tell anyone. You seem like a totally different person from what he said, I doubt you'd do any of that stuff now."

Something told me she is telling the truth. I eased a little bit. "I don't. But, why did he tell you?"

She pulled on a strand of her hair. "Well, he talked about you a lot and I got jealous. I asked what was the whole thing between you to and he told me yesterday." I nodded, thinking back to the other day when I confronted him. I guess he wasn't kidding that he wasn't going to hold back my secret.

Mare's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "I only asked if you were alright because Sean also told me about the conversation you two had and that he told someone else."

My eyes widen. "Who did he tell?"

She shrugged. "He didn't say."

Just great. Sean could've told anybody. Maddy, Ariana, or maybe some spiteful fangirl of Jaxon's. Why is my life becoming so hectic now?

"I'll catch you later, girl. I gotta head all the way across campus to those musty trailers." Mare rolled her eyes and I laughed. "Good luck."

"I'll need it and so will you." She waved and headed off to her class.

Why will I need good luck?

"Kimora, are you getting ready yet?!" My Mom hollered from downstairs.

I looked up from my Algebra homework and saw that it was 6:42 PM. I was supposed to get ready for the dinner with Jaxon's family two hours ago! I rolled out of my bed but, fell on my ass. Instant regret.
