Nagulat ako sa ginawa niya. I didn't even move a muscle when Enrique hugged me kasi feeling ko tumigil sa pag function ang utak ko.

Then he let go of me. He sighed while looking at my face and then binitawan na niya ako. He turned his back on me and walked away to his car and drove off.

"What.. just.. happened?"

"That doesn't look like a one sided love to me." Tumalikod ako at hinarap si Sage. He's leaning against the hood of his car with his arms crossed over his chest. Then he smirked at me. "So all this time, you lied to me?"

"Hindi nga! I was shocked as well." Inis na sabi ko. Kanina pa kasi ako binibiro ni Sage na nagsinungaling ako about my one sided love issue. I drank my second shot of the Blue labelled JW that I saw in my kuya's cellar. "Why are you not taking your shot?"

"Sigurado ka ba na iinumin natin itong isa sa mamahalin na inumin ng kuya mo?" I rolled my eyes at him. I don't understand his sentiments about it. It's just alcohol, jeez.

"He has lots of expensive alcohols. Cheap lang to sa kanya kaya." He shrugged then drank the shot na inilagay ko kanina. I poured another and motioned for him to take it.

Except nalang if it's you who wants to engulf yourself in too much alcoholic drink.

"Why is he like that?" I took a shot again. "Bakit ang paasa ng mga lalaki?"

Hindi siya sumagot, instead he took a full shot on his own glass. Woah, there. I raised my brow at him at tinitigan niya naman ako. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"Well, why are you drowning yourself with alcohol? Akala ko sa ating dalawa ako ang may problema?" He chuckled then shook his head. "Magkukwento ka ba o tutunganga nalang tayo?"

"You first." Itinuro pa niya ako. Umiling ako and then he sighed. "How about we decide it with a coin? Heads ikaw muna, tails ako."

He took out a coin from his pocket at ipinakita iyon sa akin. I shrugged at him. "Suit yourself."

I knew it. I've always won this kind of bet kaya alam ko na agad na mananalo ako at mauuna siyang magkwento.

"Tss daya." Naiiling na sabi niya. Natawa ako sa kanya. Gosh, pang ilang shot pa nga lang ulit to? Why does my head feel so light already?

"Anong madaya dun? It's your coin and it's your finger that flipped it." He rolled his eyes at me before he took another full shot and sighed.

"Have you ever been betrayed?" I thought about it for a moment before I shook my head. I've been betrayed by a lot of people in the industry pero sa tingin ko iba yung sa kanya.

"I had a girlfriend, we've been together for eight years," Nakatingin lang siya sa laman ng maliit na baso na hawak niya at pinapaikot-ikot sa lamesa. "That time I was this guy who were contented with managing a bistro while I was performing. I never wanted to be this—you know, big. I just wanted to live a simple life."

I think I know where this is heading but I kept my mum. My eyes are on him as I listen to him telling his story and while he takes a shot from time to time. Siguro nga walang naitutulong ang alcohol dahil pag gising mo nandiyan parin ang problema, but who cares? At least kahit sandali may karamay ka and there are times when alcohol is a better company than a human.
