Chapter Eleven: Wrong Definition Of Double Date

Maria's PoV

I got up early on a Sunday morning, feeling unsure of what may happen later on our date.

Why you ask?

Ame-san is there.

And I'm not in the highest ranking of people to stop her...

I guess I'll just have to deal with it then...

I got up and took a shower then grabbed a pink dress and a pair of peach colored doll shoes.

This should be good.

I faced Maru and smiled.

" What do you think? Do I look fine?" I asked her.

She barked and wagged her tail happily.

I smiled a litte and the anxiousness went away for a little while.

"Thanks Maru..." I murmured, patting her head. "Be a good girl okay?"

I got out of the house and walked to the park.

I saw Ru-kun sitting on a bench. I was about to call him when I saw the person beside him.

Ame-san is clinging onto him again ...

I put on a smile and walked towards them.

"Good morning," I greeted the two.

Ru-kun was looking a little uncomfortable while Ame-san was glaring at me.

"This is OUR date, Ru-chan~!!" she squealed. "Why is she here??"

"Ame-san..." Ru-kun sighed.

I just smiled, but inside I was mentally murdering the girl...

Yes, that's it... Just wrap a piece of clothing around her neck... Until she looks like a smurf, just strangle her... ^__^

I mentally slapped myself for thinking of killing her.

"Let's go~..." I suggested.

Ame-san rolled her eyes at me then dragged him away. I followed silently and tried to look okay while I was mentally torturing the girl clinging on the Ru-kun.

Oh, why am I thinking such a thing??

"Ma-chan...? Are you... all right...?"

I looked up and saw Ru-kun looking at me with a worried expression plastered on his face.

I beamed at him. "Yup~! Totally fine~!" I answered, although I was jealous inside.

He tried reaching out a hand to me but Ame-san hugged him.

"Why are you calling her with the honorific '-chan?'" she demanded. " Call me that, too~!! Ru-chan!! "

"Ame-san... Please... Stop..."

I sighed.

If I ever get annoyed with her one more time... I swear I will strangle her right here and now! >__<

We went to different shops and stores, filled with clothing.

Ru-kun kept on bugging me and telling me to try lots of dresses on.

"Do you... like it...?" he would ask me after I put it on.

"Well, yes..." I said.

"I'll buy it... for you, then...!" he offered, smiling.

"Wha-? No, don't! Please, don't buy lots of things for me!" I said. "This is expensive~!!"
