"Callie! Wake up!" Charlie shouts in my ear.

I open my eyes just enough to read the time. "Yeah right. It's twenty minutes earlier than yesterday."

"Yeah. You're meeting Ace today, you wanna make a good impression."

"Why?"

"Because he's like a more powerful version of Toby. You don't wanna make him angry or annoyed. Don't talk back to him, don't start a conversation with him. Don't make direct eye contact. Don't linger around him, and DO NOT ask for an autograph."

"Yeah right. Ace shmace. Like I care."

"Callie come on! We do not want to end up on his bad side."

"So just stay away from him and you won't be on any side of him."

"Callie! Get up."

"No. If you make me get up the first time I meet him I'm asking for an autograph."

"If you don't get up now I'm dumping water on you again."

"Okay! I'll get up!" I stick a toe outside of the warm cocoon known as my duvet. "It's too cold, I think I'll just stay here." I hear the water sloshing into a pot and shoot out of bed. "I'm up! I'm up!"

"That's good." I hear Charlie coming in behind me. Splash. I'm now freezing, wet, and annoyed. "If you don't get up when we ask I'll keep doing this."

"You will regret it!!!" I shout at her glaring

"Okay. Calm it. You've had your shower so just skip to the dressing part. You have twenty minutes unless you want another detention and more regular cold showers."

"Uhhhhh."

"Get into your uniform!"

"Fine!"

"Come on Callie! Stop being grumpy!"

"You dumped water on me! I have a right to be grumpy!"

"Lunch. Let's eat then discuss."

"Yup. Where do the others go at lunch."

"Oh they eat in one of the classes."

"Why?"

"Oh they just don't want to be near that guy." She points at a tall, slim, remarkably recognisable boy. "That would be Maddy's twin brother Cedrick."

"Oh. Wow. Twin. He doesn't happen to have the same attitude?"

"Oh yeah. Worse actually."

"Wow. Keep me away from him or I may accidentally stick a knife in his eye."

"Callie! Charlie! Over here still!" A sleep deprived Hunter calls to us.

"Hey Hunter! How are you?"

"Lacking sleep."

"Why?"

"Ace didn't even step foot into our dorm yesterday. He was out all night. I don't know what him and Toby have going but they need to sort it out." I scoff. Idiots.
