"Um.. Ya.. Why? " "No, I just called you several times. Even called you by your first name and yet u didn't respond. Seems like you were in deep thoughts".
"No. I was just... Um... Memorizing our plan." I answered in a hush tone.
Ria looked at me for a brief moment and then put on her hand gloves while I put on mine.
Back to Ria's POV
Something was disturbing Malik. I could see it in his eyes. But I decided to keep my mouth shut for the time being.
Everyone was ready.
Rick called me to inform that he has hacked into the fence system and CCTV. We instantly took our stuff and went on as per our plan.
The party already had begun.
Malik dropped me at the starting of the tunnel and drove to enter the party. I took out the laser cutter and dig a hole in the old wood door. The tunnel had no light or lamp. So I took out a glow stick and my holographic map to reach the mansion. The tunnel really was ancient. The doors were nearly destroyed. The tunnel was now a property to only rats, snakes, bats. I walked fast and said Rick to be ready.
Malik's POV
I dropped Ria near the tunnel and drove my way to the Mansion. Guests were already pouring in. Even delegates were present.
I was wearing a black tuxedo with white shirt and black pants. It was obvious they would know me as American. They would be suspicious and alarmed on me. But that's the idea. So that I could draw their attention and Ria finds the way to the control room.
"I am here. Where's Ria? "I asked Rick through my earpiece and small microphone attached inside my shirt.
"Chillax dude. She is very close. Just one minute more"
"ONE MINUTE MORE??!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? I am about to enter the main gate and you are saying one more minute!!!!!"
"Woah dude chill. Relax"
"Ya, right relax. I'll relax once I get into the ballroom without being crushed by 20 commandos."
Where the hell are you, Ria?
Ria's POV
"Okay, I am here. I am at the fence."I huskily said to Rick who was having a trouble in calming my fellow partner, Malik.
"Okay. I am switching off the fence security guard system for three minutes. Within that three minutes, you have to get to the control room without being detected. Else the fence system will come back online and that cameras will detect him and you and send signal immediately. Do you understand?"
"Ya. 3 minutes right? " I reconfirmed nervously.
"Yep. Just three minutes. You got this."
"Guys, I am entering the main gate. And I seriously don't want to be crushed by those commandos. I am not married yet" Malik piped in.
