Christina's POV:

I walk down the sidewalk towards Millenium Park. They fixed it up a little, but since it isn't very important it still looks like piled up garbage in some areas. I'm not sure why I'm going here, I just needed to get out. I'm also not sure if that means I want to be alone. I usually am these days.

When I reach the park, I sit under the sculpture that looks like a giant jellybean. It makes me hungry most of the time, but right now I'm distracted. By what, I don't know, but something is on my mind. Then I know-Death. Death is a strange thing. What is the point of life I your just going to die? But life is great sometimes when you have people who love you-your friends and family. Even though many of my dearest friends and family are gone, I still have plenty left- Tobias, Zeke, Mathew, Peter (who isn't a jerk anymore) my mom and sister. But I also have lost many-Tris, Will, Al, etc.

I look into the jellybeans curved side and into my own reflections eyes. Today they are brown, but they often change from brown, to a hazel, to almost a green. I've changed a lot since the choosing ceremony. My hair is much longer. I'm not sure why I haven't cut it yet, but I only did a few times for a trim. My face isn't cut or bruised like during Dauntless initiation. It looks older now. Well I am 19. I almost feel prettier, and more mature.

I'm not sure how long I've been sitting here, but I decide to get up. I walk for a little bit, unsure of where to go. Then I decide to head back to my apartment and take a nap.

I wake up to the sound of my phone. I can tell from the ringtone that's its Tobias. I answer an hear his voice, almost panicked, but he doesn't sound I'm pain, or angry. He talks for a while before I fully understand what he said. I drop the phone on my bed and run outside my house as fast as I can. I need to see this.
