As Kara watches the pod finally leave her vision, she realizes her life is changing. Now, she has to wake up in an empty bed in the mornings. She has to raise her daughter without a father. She has to figure out how to do it all, alone.
But one day...
Since the day the DEO had found out that Samantha Arias was Reign, the whole team had been crazy busy. Supergirl and Lena were working together for hours on end, trying to find a way to cure their friend from Reign. Alex, J'onn, Mon-el and Winn did their best to help maintain the city's safety while Supergirl was occupied. Shaylee did all she could to help Lena figure out the science but unfortunately, her knowledge on human biology was very limited. Naomi did her job staying clear from everyone as they all worked. However, she continuously grows bored and is desperate for something to do.
While everyone was buried deep in their work, Naomi sneaks out to the balcony and decides to go out for a quick fly. There's something so free and therapeutic about flying at night. The sounds of the city, the lights from all the skyscrapers, the slight breeze from the night.
"Naomi Elle Danvers, get your butt back to the DEO this instant." Kara demeaned, using her intercoms.
"Fine Mama I'm-" Naomi attempts to reply.
Suddenly, Purity injects a vile of Kryptonite into the child's skin and instantly knocks her out. Pestilence immediately catches the child and they bring her back to their master.
"Well done my children." Selena smiles. "You have successfully captured the daughter of Kara Zor-el. It's a only a matter of time before we are able to reunite you both with Reign and finally take over Earth."

"This doesn't make sense. Naomi never goes night flying without adult supervision. She knows this." Kara explains pacing back and forth. She tries to use her super hearing to see if she can find any sign of the child. Nothing. Not even a heartbeat. "Winn run Naomi's heat signature for me."
Winn scans all over National City for her heat signature and finds nothing. Immediately, Kara's panic increases and she flies out of the DEO in search of her daughter. Alex runs over to Mon-el and Shaylee's chambers and gets their help. Mon-el flies around the city alongside Kara while Shaylee help Winn to search all the databases. Kara grows in worry the longer they fly. She would never be able to forgive herself if something had ever happen to her daughter. She would be breaking the promise, the promise she had made to Naomi to always be there for her. After searching the entire city twice, Mon-el and Kara head back to the DEO and combine their brains with the others to come up with a solution.
"Kara... they found her." Alex states. "She's with the Worldkillers."
Suddenly, the alarms go off and the other agents storm their way into the lab where Reign is being detained. Reign manages to knock them all out and flies out to the balcony. Kara immediately follows behind in hopes of Reign leading her to Naomi.
"Well done my child." Selena beams as Reign enters in the building. "You brought the daughter of Zor-el to me. Now we must end her and her daughter to finally be free."
"I don't think so." Kara shouts, using her laser eyes. As the fight begins, Kara searches around for Naomi, hoping she doesn't see what is about to go down. The three Worldkillers team up against Kara and begin to fight her off. With the three of them, Kara couldn't even compete. They were full of strength and different powers. Kara's only strength she had was Naomi. She needed to get her daughter out of there, alive. Soon, Mon-el, Shaylee, Alex, and J'onn come join in on the right and help out with the other Worldkillers as Kara takes on Reign.
"Shay! Watch out!" Mon-el warns. Pestilence comes up behind Shaylee and grabs her from the back. She manages to elbow her in the stomach, loosening her grasp, and punches her in the face. She grabs the gun from her holster and shoots the woman in the chest.
"That was for my mom you bitch." She mumbles, turning back around. Mon-el looks over at his daughter with concern as he watches her shoot the gun. But that's for a later conversation. As the fight continues, the team manage to take out Purity and the fortress begins to collapse. The power from Purity and Pestilence rushes into Reign and gives her a new boost of power. She escapes out of the fortress as its collapsing and Kara immediately tells everyone to leave.
"Naomi! Naomi! Baby I'm here! Mama's here!" Kara shouts, running through the collapsing rocks.
"Mama! I'm here! Right here!" Naomi sobs. Kara focuses on her voice and follows it. She finds Naomi laying on the floor in a cage with handcuffs on her. Every inch of her body is filled with anger as she watches Naomi beg to be released from her cuffs. Kara tends to follow a moral code, she prides herself on it. But this was different, this involved her daughter and no one ever messes with her Naomi. Those World Killers got what they deserved.
"Hang on Baby I'm gonna get you out of here. I need you to stand back okay? Stand back."
Kara grips onto the metal cage and yanks it out of the stone wall. She tosses it aside and pulls Naomi's chains out of the wall. Quickly grabbing Naomi, she flies out of the crumbling fortress and rushes back to the DEO.
"Baby are you okay? Did they hurt you? Did they give you anything? Did they do anything?"
"They just locked me up and put Kryptonite in me."
"We need to run tests. Come on." Kara rushes. She immediately gets the team to check her vitals and do a scan on her, making sure all of the Kryptonite is out of her system.
"Mama I'm sorry... I'm soo.. sssorry. I didn't mean to... she hurt you. " Naomi sobs, barely being able to speak.
"Hey I'm okay. Baby I'm okay. It's just a bruise I'm okay." Kara soothes, bringing Naomi into a tight hug. "It's not your fault. You didn't do this okay? This wasn't your fault."
Kara plants a kiss on the top of her head and holds onto her as she continues to cry. Quietly, she starts to sing and gets Naomi to sleep while they wait for her results.
Oh my gosh long time no see I know! And I'm sooo sorry about it. My summer has been crazy and I'm just trying to soak it all in before I return to the hell hole in two weeks. But here I am and I promise the wait won't be as long for the next one.
