"Do you know where Jungkook is?" Chae asked.
The butler bowed his head in respect. "I don't. He is probably at work."
Chae nodded. "Thank you, Jin. I was only wondering."
Jin bowed again and left Chae in the hallway. Chae stared after him for a while before sighing and turning around on her heel.
Jungkook was always at work, but something didn't sit right with her. She was only a worried wife. She walked back into their room and closed the door gently.
Chae took out her phone and called the company, asking if Jungkook was there. He wasn't.
Chae took in a deep breath and slid her back against the door until she was sitting on the floor. Her dress flowed out onto the floor in gentle ruffles.
She sniffled. "Come back home safely," she whispered.
