if i could tell you
that you are flawed
that you are full of imperfections
you would push me away
you would flinch at my honesty
you would scar yourself
but you are imperfect
you are so imperfect
that you are the most perfect human
i've ever known

whenever your gaze falls to a mirror, you stand straight with your shoulders back. it's an almost unconscious reaction. you arrange your hair a little, making it even messier than before and finally giving up with a sigh. your sight falls to your body, to every part of your self that you dislike. you practice smiles. the first smile is a little too wide, the second a little too formal. you sigh and fix the clothes that never seem to perfectly fit you. you arrange your hair again then curse at the mess you've made. you tear your gaze away from your body. you hate to look at it. it's disgusting, right? i don't understand why you hate yourself so much. you know, for everything you hate about yourself, i can give you a hundred reasons about why i love them.
