"I wanted to keep fighting you and your friend for a bit longer, but this is a match anyway." Kefla said to Goku, "I'm going to knock you off now."
Goku moved a tiny bit, and Kefla's frown turned into a smirk as Goku slowly wobbled to his feet, his eyes closed. "N-not yet." he said, "I'm not finished yet."
Kefla grinned. "Man, you really want this to hurt, don't you? Have it your way." She charged up two more green energy blasts, which both split into three- six in total.
"Eat this!" Kefla shouted as she chucked the blasts at Goku.
But right before the blasts connected, Goku's hair began to stand up in a strange way. A thin blue glow surrounded his body...
And in a fraction of a second, Goku deflected every single blast. They all exploded behind him.
"What the-?" Yamcha exclaimed.
Kefla looked very surprised. "It's a fluke. It has to be a fluke!" she said, trying to reassure herself, "A fluke won't happen twice. I'll blow you away for sure this time!"
She fired six more energy blasts at Goku, but instead of deflecting them, he just leaned out of the way of each blast- and the whole time, his eyes remained shut.
"What? That's impossible!" Kefla exclaimed.
Goku stood up straight as a high-pitched noise filled the air, and a thin, flaming blue aura surrounded his body.
And when he opened his eyes, they were glowing silver

"H-his eyes..." Kefla stammered.
"Ha ha, YES!" Yamcha cheered.
Tien looked rattled. "Could it be...?"
"That form..." Master Roshi mused.
"The one Goku used when he fought Jiren!" Krillin realized.
"Yes. There's no mistake." Tien confirmed.
"He's broken through his shell again." Whis said, "I didn't expect to see it happen here again."
Beerus looked like he didn't know whether to grin or growl. He settled for a grin and stood up, jamming his fist into his open palm, so it looked like he was about to crack his knuckles. "Let's have a look, then..." Beerus said, his eyes narrowing, "at Ultra Instinct!"
"How exciting!" Zen-Oh exclaimed gleefully.
"Yeah, it's so exciting!" Future Zen-Oh agreed.
Yamcha got to his feet and pumped his fist. "That's our Goku!"
Goku's expression was calm, confident, and determined all at the same time. "Yamcha." he called, and his friend froze.
"What?" Yamcha asked.
Goku didn't even glance over, but Yamcha decided not to take that as an offensive gesture. "Stay out of this. You've done enough." Goku said.
Yamcha sighed. "'Yamcha, stay out of this. Yamcha, stay out of that.'" he grumbled, jumping away to a safe distance.
Goku jumped back onto a tall pillar of rock, and the steam coming off of him began to pick up. Hiss aura became a pillar and skyrocketed into the air, and he gave a battle cry as his energy shot up. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The wind that jetted outward was so forceful that even Kefla had to guard against it.
Goku looked down at Kefla. "You won't be able to beat me this time."
Kefla grinned. "I'll take that as a challenge!"

Goku continued to let off more power and heat, and Kefla laughed. "Wow! Talk about hot! Your power's heat is reaching all the way here! So that's Ultra whatever?"
"Ultra Instinct." Goku corrected.
Kefla smirked. "I see. I kinda like the heat you're letting off. Even so..." She leaped onto a pillar of rock, too, and then she began powering up as well. "I won't lose! I'm number one!"
Suddenly, Kefla got a small increase of muscle mass and lightning began sparking around her like crazy. Her aura also shot upwards, and the storm of gales was so strong that it began obliterating nearby Kachi Katchin rocks and pillars.
"Kefla went Super Saiyan 2!" Cabba exclaimed.
Goku and Kefla continued to power up, their auras both letting off amazing light and heat, two pillars, blue and green, shaking the entire fighting stage.
