"Bye Callie. Enjoy your stay at Greenwood." Aunt Louisa smirks and nods, narrating her words with her actions.

"Oh I will." I spit, Then I grab my suitcase and jump into the back of the car awaiting me.

"Miss."

I glare at the driver. "Yes?"

"The airport is approximately 45minutes away, when we get there you have a 6 and a quater hour flight to Eugene in Oregon. Finally when you arrive in Oregon, you have a 2 hour car journey to the school."

"Cool. Don't care."

"Oh ok. I was just making sure you knew where we're going."

"Well now I know, thank you driver guy."

"Of course. And if you don't mind me asking, are you English Miss?"

"Half English, half American. I've lived in England my whole life though."

—————

God car journeys are boring. I arrived in Oregon half an hour ago and I'm already bored out of my mind.

I pick up the magazine on the seat next to mine.

I look at the magazine.

I put down the magazine.

I open the car window.

I get cold.

I close the car window.

I complain.

"Why is it sooooo cold?!"

"Because we're in Oregon miss, it's quite a bit colder here." The driver replies. I see his moustache twitch in the mirror and smirk, he's annoyed.

"Still. I'm cold. I'm bored. I'm annoyed. What do I do?"

"Do you want to listen to music?"

"Ooh. What you got?"

"There should be a screen in front of you. It has a lot of music."

"Your kidding! This was here the whole time?!"

"Yes Miss. You have only been in this car for half an hour though."

"Thank you for trying to justify my actions Driver guy, you almost made me feel better."

"Your welcome Miss."

—————

"Miss, Sorry to wake you but we're here."

"I don't care! Sleep is more important!"

"Well I'm afraid certain people are here to meet you, they won't be happy if you're late."

"They can suck it for all I care."

"Miss please!"

"Uhhhhhh! Fine then!"

"Thank you. Your bags have already been delivered to your room so no need to worry about those."

"Thanks driver guy."

"Your welcome." He smiles slightly and I slowly emerge from the car, wincing at the sudden bright light.

The driver shuts the car door behind me and guides me towards two massive oak doors at the front of the building.

"Wow. Pretty big, pretty fancy, pretty over the top..." the driver guy smiles and gives me a quick wave, leaving me planning my escape route as the doors in-front of me slowly open, a woman in a smart outfit and grey glasses ushers me in.

"Wait There please." She points me to a seat.

"What happens if I don't."

"Then you won't be wearing anything but school uniform for the next two weeks."

"Even to sleep in?"

"Even to sleep in." She confirms.

"Harsh much!"

"Not really, no. That would be considered a gentle punishment."

"What?! Child abuse!"

"And look at that, the sarcastic clown just turned naive."

"Do you mind! Clowns are scary!"

"Oh my! Their red noses really make me run and hide."

"Stop with the sarcasm! You're meant to be the old and boring one."

"Now the old I don't appreciate, however the fact that you said I wasn't boring I do."

"I am so done with this conversation." I sit down on the chair, then realise she just got me to do what she wanted. "God I really am naive aren't I? Well played."

She smiles. "Thank you."
