And snatching
Trying to catch me
Trying to grab me
And steal me away
Every time
I'm feeling unbothered
And perfectly fine
You wrestle yourself
Back in my days
You're jealous
You're angry
And probably scared...
Scared that you lost me?
You lost me,
Indeed...
I fought for you-
FOR US!
For your attention
Your empathy
Your love-
A mother's love!
WAS IT TOO MUCH
TO ASK FOR?
Was I...
Too much-
Too much not good enough?
You made me crawl
And beg
And bite the dust
But all I got in return
Were scars,
And a shattered heart.
I miss you-
But the you I miss
Has long gone.
