Cold and frightened
But sweet broken angel

Not to take away the pain,
That's something I can't do
-You know that if I could,
I most certainly would-
But sweet little girl
I can try to help you through
And be a shoulder to cry on
A friend to rely on
A sister who will listen
And hug away your tears...
Try and get some sleep, love
Your heart, it needs a rest.
As for your mind...
Don't torture it with
Endless pondering
Mindless wondering
Thoughts and memories
That cannot heal nor please
That broken heart of yours.
Sleep, love...
Close your eyes
Give your mind and soul a break,
So they can get the energy
They need to heal (you).
