Laura's pov
I was currently having dinner at the lynch's, i was seated next to rydel and ross.
Riker keeps telling me stories on ross.
Riler: and he goes on and on and on and on about how beautiful you are
Ross:NO I DONT! (He says while blushing)
I then giggled
Laura:you dont think im beautiful? (I smirked)
Ross:no i do, its just tha-(he then stopped when he realized what he said)
Rydel:AWWWWWW!
The rest of the boys started teasing him by howling.
Stormie:alright alright settle down.
I smiled at the sight of this family.
Ross didnt dare to look at me but i keep glancing at him.
Mark:so laura.....do you know about ross being a player? (He says strictly)
Silence then overtook the room.
Ross:dad....
Mark:no, i wanna ask her.
He then looks at me..
Laura:well....i wouldn't really call him a player...
Mark:he brings home a girl every week, or sometimes everyday!
Laura:i've known ross for years and i think he's really sweet...
Mark: thats funny, cause he treats girls like trash.
Stormie:honey stop it...
Mark: and now, he brought you home, the only girl i thought he would never hit on.
Laura:he didnt hit on me.....
Mark: really? Please, ross usually invites the girl for dinner. And we usually attack the girl with questions so that she will leave.
Ross:dad she's different! She's my bestfriend..
Mark: hahaha, thats funny, you say that to evey girl you bring home
I then looked at ross...
Ross:thats not true...
Mark:why dont you get your head straight dear, before ross breaks your heart as well..
Rydel:DAD!
I then looked down...
Laura:u.umm..... I ....umm....i need to get home....its getting late....
I then stood up.
Laura:thank you for the dinner. It was delicious..
Stormie then smiled at me and i was about to walk out
Ross:i'll walk you.
Laura:no thanks.. (I say without looking at him)
I then walk out and back to my house with a small tear down my cheek.
Ross' pov
As soon as laura left i felt like my heart dropped...
Ross:WHAT WAS THAT?!
Mark: i was just warning her.
Ross:SHE'S MY BESTFRIEND DAD!
Mark:but you like her..
Ross:th...umm...thats not the issue here!
Mark:look im sorry , i was just trying to....
Ross:no you're not! You could bully the other girls i bring home, but never laura!
I then walked upstairs to my room angrily, leaving my family in silence.
I slammed the door and i went straightly to my balcony.
Ross:LAURA! (I shouted, waiting for her to come out.) LAURA PLEASE COME OUT!
After a while, no one answered...
Ross:LAURA! PLEASE.....
I just leaned on my balcony and i bowed my head, waiting.
I then heard glass doors opened.
I look up to see laura with sadness dominating her face.
Ross:laura! Im sooo sorry about dinner!
Laura:its ok ross....
Ross:No its not! Im sooo sorry, my dad is just used to me bringing girls home....
Laura: thats what i am right......just another girl..
Ross:WHAT?! No! Laura i just wanted you to meet my family...
Laura:well i really met them...
Ross:im sorry about my dad,.
Laura:its not a big problem ross....
Ross:yes it is! He treated you rudely.
Laura: everyone has an opinion ross..
Ross:laura im soo sorry, i'll make it up to you....i promise!
Laura: you dont have to ross....
Ross:no, i want to! I'll take you out to dinner, just you and me....
Laura:(she sighs) ross you know how busy i am....
Ross:i'll do anything laur, just please dont be mad at me...
Laura:im not mad at you...
Ross:but you're still upset.
Laura:its because your father's words had me thinking.......
Ross:look i will never hit on you and if i do, i will never break your heart you know that right?
She blushes a little hardly noticeable with only the moon as the light
Laura: thats sweet ross........
I then just smiled...as i stare into her eyes....
I felt my body moving closer and leaning to her....she did the same...slowly making our way closer to each other...
Laura:i-i...i..should get some sleep...
We stopped leaning in and i just smiled at the 3 inch distance our faces have
Ross:y-yeah....
She then moves back
Laura:i'll see you tomorrow.....goodnight.
I smiled
Ross:goodnight juliet...
I watched as she walks in her room and turns off the light.
I stayed for at the balcony for a little while and just thought of laura.......
