Fort (Pidge X Reader) Modern AU

You walked into your favorite little store across from your house. "Morning Matt." You said as you set your bag on the counter and looked over at your friend. "Hey (Y/n), why are you here today?" He asked passing you a pack of him while you slid him a dollar. "I can't just come visit my best friend?" You said smirking. "No, now what do you want (Y/n)?" He said as you laughed a bit. "Alright alright, one have you seen Katie? And two once you find her tell her to meet me at my place thanks!" You said saluting him before you left. You jumped the fence into your apartment complex and ran through slamming the door shut.

Katie and you were making your relation ship official and you wanted to make her feel special. You had bought blankets and pillows to fill your whole living room along with the movie 'Spider man homecomeing' and lots and lots of sweets. "Perfect! Now to wait for Katie." You said changing into a oversized t-shirt that said 'be like protons, always positive' and some grey sweatpants. You decided to set up green and white fairylights around the room since those where her favorite colors. "Now its perfect." You said sitting wrapped up in a blanket. You scrolled through your Pinterest when you heard a knock on the door.

You scrambled up and opened the door. "Katie! Come in." You said grabbing the smaller girls hand and taking her to the living room. "Woah, (Y/n)...you went all out didn't you." She said falling onto the pillows on the floor. "Yeah you change into something comfy while I get the ramen." You said passing her a green sweater and black shorts. She smiled and walked off to change. You grabbed two bowls of ramen and went back into the living room to see Katie sitting in the pile of blankets and pillows. "Thanks (Y/n). This is so nice." She said and you draped a blanket over her shoulders and pressed play on the movie.

You both finished eating and Katie leaned onto your shoulder making you smile. "Katie, you want ice cream? I have three different kinds." You said and she looked up nodding. You hopped up and went to the kitchen to grab it. You came back and jumped onto the blankets. "(Y/n), lets build a fort!" Katie said excitedly. You nodded and set the ice cream on the coffee table. She quickly hopped onto her feet and grabbed chairs from the dining room and set them up in a Simi circle shape while you hung blankets from each chair and used a rubber band to tie them in the middle. "Is this good Pidge?" You said, stopping for a moment when you noticed you had called her by her nickname. "Sorry Pi- Katie. I forgot you only let Matt call you that." You apologised and she just grabbed your hand.

"Well you are my girlfriend so, if you want you can call me that." She said leaning in and kissing your cheek. You giggled and tossed a pillow at her. "Katie is cuter~" You said in a sing song voice. She laughed and rested her head in your lap. "...love you." She said sleepily. You smiled and kissed her gently "Love you too." You whispered pulling a blanket over the now sleeping girl.

Hello there, sorry this was short I'm not good at pidgeXreader so I tryed. Anyway I'm going to still update this but I'm also starting to work on the Lotor X Reader book based on the chapter before bc I like it a lot.
