"Thank you so much Sawyer!" I ran and gave him a hug. He's the best.
We ate breakfast and he drove me to school.
He parked in a parking place and shut off the engine.
He looked straight into my eyes
"I was wondering...are you doing anything Friday night?" He slowly asked
Hmmm.
Friday.
Friday.
Friday? Nope. Nothin planned
"I don't think so"
"Great! Do you think that...maybe we could...um...go on a...uh...date...?"
"Of course!"
"Really?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay, so um I'll pick you up at 9:00"
"Alright!! See ya then!!"
I smiled and hopped out of his truck with my bag
I walked happily into school
I walked straight to my locker and put my belongings away. I grabbed my books for 1st and 2nd. I was just about to shut my locker when it was slammed shut. I turned to see who it was. Shannon.
"Well well if it isn't Cyryn. Hope I didn't catch your hand this time." She said with obvious sarcasm.
Ehh I'm way to happy to deal with this crap
"Oh don't worry, you didn't. You actually helped me."
"What. How?" She said. God she's stupid
"You saved me the trouble of raising my arm and using the small amount of energy it takes to push this locker closed" I smiled at her and walked off
From now on, no more bullies.
I turned the corner with a smile still planted on my face. But that smile was wiped off when something pounded into my stomach knocking the breath out of me.
I gasped and looked up to see who it was.
It surprised me. It was Daniel.
The one that used to care for my wellbeing.
The one that helped Corbyn help me
The one that told Corbyn he'd help protect me
That was who had punched me in the stomach...
He grabbed me by my shirt sleeve and pulled me to be back of the school.
I looked around and saw Jonah, Jack and Zach all standing there with smiles.
Daniel threw me on the ground. All the boys laughed.
"So, you think you can punch me and get away with it? Because I don't" Jonah hissed and stepped closer
"But I did, didn't I? I mean I did get in a truck and drive off. And then you had to have one of your servants come and punch me in the stomach to catch me. So I think I did get away with it." Oh jeez
why do I have to feel so happy today.
It's boosting my self esteem but my self esteem is about to get me killed
"You think you're so smart don't ya? Well, we don't like nerds" Jonah laughed and cracked his knuckles
"Oh but, don't you remember? You liked me. That's the whole reason why you're doing this. I'm guessing you don't remember the whole "if I can't have her nobody can" situation..."
Yep.
I need to learn how to control my mouth...
Goodbye world.
Sorry Sawyer.
I do have something planned Friday.
It's called a funeral.
"You just don't know when to shut that mouth of yours do you? Don't worry. We can teach you. Get her boys"
Jack and Zach smiled as they stepped closer. Soon Zach was lifting me up while Jack punched me.
My mind drifted back to my first observation of these boys
Jack: a little shorter than the rest, has extremely curly hair. He didn't seem that bad but he could definitely take me out with a punch.
Zach: brown hair and rosy cheeks. He didn't look like he could hurt a fly. I'm gonna guess that he's the soft one of the group. Guess I was wrong about that...
Daniel: a long necked boy who had brown hair. He looked like a toothpick compared to the others. He couldn't possibly do much damage to someone unless he went on a rampage. Also wrong about him...
Jack is wearing rings today...which makes his punches 5 times harder.
I felt myself going in and out of consciousness
I can't last much longer...
My blurred gaze shifted to Daniel
His expression looked confused and worried
Jonah walked over to him and whispered something into Daniels ear
Daniels expression changed to pure fear and he slowly made his way towards me
Daniel held me while Zach and Jack punched me
Soon I heard screaming and a thud.
Next thing I know Daniel dropped me
I fell to the ground and hit my head in the pavement
Why is it always that one spot on my head?!?
I saw Jack get hit and he fell. When he stood up there was more yelling
Suddenly my vision started getting cloudy.
The last thing I remember is a flash of a whitish/yellow color.
My vision went black.
But my mind raced to figure out what I saw
It replayed a specific observation
An observation that I made right before my panic attack a few months ago...
There was another boy, he had blonde hair and really nice shoes. He had rings on his hands which meant that a punch from him would most likely leave a mark. Note to self: steer clear of his bad side.
Whitish/yellow?
Blonde.
Corbyn.
Thank god you didn't listen to me Corb.
I'm sorry for the things I said to you.
I do need you in my life.
