I knew the moment I woke up,

I felt a tear slide down my cheek,
I put my hand undermeath my pillow,
And just as I had guessed,
There was a letter,
"Only in case of an emergency"
Written below that was the address of an army camp,
Then the tears rushed it,
It actually hit me,
You are gone,
Because of me,
To protect me,
I wish I could hold you back,
In my arms forever,
We would be safe and sound,
With each other,
Forever....
