CHAPTER FIFTY ONE

24 Hours to go

Shagun wondered why Mihika had come to see her as they took her out of her cell, It kind of didn't make sense. But if she knew any better maybe she was just coming here to start a screaming match with her or something but she was over it. She was not going to say anything anyway, they knew it, she knew it what she didn't get is why they even continued hounding her and bothering to ask her over and over again.

When she finally came out, she was taken to a room where she could see Mihika seated with a man who she later understood was Mihika's lawyer

'Officer I would like to post her bail...'' Shagun heard Mihika say

'Whoa...'' Said Shagun

'Here are all the court papers everything is there.'' Said the lawyer

'Can you please take off those handcuffs, like seriously...'' said Mihika and the police officer obliged

'Mihika what the hell is going one. Where is Raman?'' Asked Shagun

This whole thing was not making any sense to be honest and it scared her a little. Why would Mihika bail her out when everyone if them, blamed her for Ishita's disappearance. Where they trying to...

'Officer take me back to my cell I will not go anywhere with this woman.'' Said a terrified Shagun

'Shagun shut it and you are being unreasonable.'' Said Mihika

'No! What do you want to do to me? Where are you taking me?'' Said Shagun

'Everyone you know has left you here to rot. The men you claim care about you have all left you here. Raman brought you here and Aslok kind of forgot about you and disappeared. Right now I am all you have and do not get it twisted I am not doing this for you but for Ishita...'' Said Mihika

'Is is okay? Did you find her?'' asked Shagun genuinely concerned

'No! But she believes in truth and I do not think you guilty. You're a lot of things but I do not think you have it in you to plan such a thing.'' Said Mihika convincingly

'Yes I didn't know I swear. You do not know how much I just wanted someone at least to listen to me. I am grateful but I am still not going anywhere with you.'' Said Shagun

'You do not have a choice this is not your home or a safe haven. It is a court order we are supposed to release you and since the judge thinks you're a risk and might disappear from the country. You kind of have to go with her. There is no two ways about it.'' Said the police commissioner

Shagun really didn't want to go because she knew it in her gut something was not adding up but she was tired of staying in that hell. She needed to get out and all she had to do was just walk out of there, only then would she be able o plan properly what to do next, so she reluctantly agreed as her devious mind started cooking up a strategy to run away from Mihika.

They finally made it to Abhimanyu's house as planned and everything was set into place because there was no time to waste. When Shagun got out of the care she could see this beautiful house and there were two guards at the door. One of them came and took Mihika's filed and bag and quickly ran hem inside. It made it seem like Mihika had taken extra precaution with security which made sense given what was happening.

What Shagun didn't know was that it was signal to let everyone inside know that they had arrived and all of them should be set. Mihika turned and looked a her saying
