i was in my bedroom for a good 30 minutes just chillin. i was blasting music as usual when i heard a knock on the door. assuming it was someone like jasmine, especially since she's been constantly on top of me lately i yelled back " not right now jasmine" but it wasn't her. it was someone else i realized, i heard a deep voice. i lowered my music and heard " it's oscar" i walked up to the door and opened it. my arms were crossed against my chest as i looked up at his face.
" they're driving me crazy n i wanted to get away" he responded
" okay you're acting like imma entertain you or sum, i'm not in the mood" i said bluntly.
he chucked " let me stay up here with you." it came out as a question.
i then sighed as i opened up the door more signaling for him to enter. when he did he sat on the edge of my bed. i then sat right next to him. we sat in silence until he broke it.
" what were you doing here by yourself, lil mama"
"nothing listening to music" i said trying not to show that when he talks to me he drives my
insides insane.
i looked up at him as he looked in my eyes
"your so beautiful" he whispered, i turned my head trying not to show that i blushed.
"oscar stop" i said
"for what i'm not lying to you your- oh shit is this because of cesar? don't act like it was never gonna happen. you should have known"
i turned to him
" yea i knew it was gonna happen but not at 14. i though you would know better oscar. i wanted to think you were better than that" i said, mumbling the last part
he looked at me as i was still rambling after what i just said said
" i get it i messed up. i'm a fool i get it. but please just stop talking bout it, damn" oscar says back
" okay 'spooky', whatever" i said knowing he's never liked when i call him that or at least when i'm mad.
i walked up from my bed about to go to my laptop changing the music that was blasted from my speakers, when he grabbed my waist. he pulled me next to him, sitting me down on the bed again
"let me take you out on a date, show you i'm not a bad person"
i laughed " i know your not a bad person, oscar, you just really fucked up this time- " i was cut off.he grabbed my face and kissed me it was gentle but at the same time it wasn't. he kissed me as he craved my lips on his. and i kissed him the same, something i've always dreamed of doing but never planned on it happening. i began to lift up his shirt as we heard a knock on the door. we pulled away instantly not knowing who it was. it was ruby, uh hey sis and oscar... cesar's here." as soon as we heard that we heard yelling, a lot of it. me and oscar ran down stairs, well mostly me i can be extra at times.
" why are you guys arguing" i yelled everyone turned to me
" well cesar kissed olivia" monse said
" ruby's in love with olivia" jamal shouts back
and as soon as that was said the arguing began again
"y'all messed up" oscar said
everyone stayed quiet oscar told his brother it's time to go. oscar glanced at me before leaving. the arguing continued. as i get fed up i went up stairs and checked my phone
" pick you up saturday at 7"
automatically knowing who it was i smiled to myself as i felt heat rising up my cheeks.
