Chapter 18

Naruto was sleeping on the couch with his good arm across his eyes and his mouth open. Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy were looking at him with Natsu and Gajeel having an evil shine in their eyes. Natsu and Gajeel looked at each other and nodded, while Wendy walked over to Naruto. Natsu and Gajeel came back with a bucket of water with ice and grabbed two chairs. Wendy was shaking Naruto awake, Naruto then woke up and looked over to where Wendy was "Un, what is it, sweetheart?"

"I'm hungry Tou-chan," he said as Naruto slipped off the couch just as Natsu and Gajeel dumped the bucket. It made a splash and got the couch wet while Naruto was still dry. Naruto looked behind him and saw Natsu and Gajeel. The two said boys then quivered in fear as they dove behind the couch. Naruto used his gravity magic to pick them up from behind the couch and pulled them toward him. The two boys were trying to run away from him, but to no avail, as they squirmed in the air. Naruto then put the two boys in front of him and looked at them saying "Natsu, Gajeel..."

"Y-yes, tou-chan?" said the boys

"Before you get to eat, I want this couch cleaned, got it?" he said as both boys nodded. Naruto then lets go of both boys as he took Wendy in his arms and into the kitchen. Naruto put Wendy in her chair and started to make breakfast. He had to get used to living in the estate as he had to use clone magic to try and find the pots and pans. He then started to make steamed rice, miso soup, fish, tsukemono, nori, and kobachi. Just as he was finishing up, Mira and Yushi came down. Mira was looking like she fell out of a tree while Yushi had the next level of bed head. They sat down as Natsu and Gajeel came into the kitchen "Did you boys clean the couch?" said Naruto

"Yes, tou-chan," said Natsu

"We even vacuumed it to make sure," said Gajeel as Naruto smiled

"I see, then you'll be getting more fish than usual," he said as he put two fish fillets on their plates

"Really?" both boys said

"Yes, you did as you were told and went beyond that... but don't do it again" he said as he put their plates on the table

"Yes, tou-chan," said Natsu

"Alright, tou-chan," said Gajeel and both boys sat down. Naruto then placed Mira's and Yushi's plates in front of them "Enjoy," said Naruto as both girls took a bite of the food, to which they started to dig in

"Wow, this is great!" said Mira between bites

"I haven't had anything like this in my life," said Yushi as Naruto just looked at them with a sweatdrop

"It's nothing special, just something I cook on a regular basis, and that reminds me," he said as he looked at Mira as he sat down "we have to see how your siblings are doing Mira-chan," he said as Mira stopped eating

"Oh, yeah... " she said

"What's wrong, don't you want to see them?" asked Naruto

"It's not that, it's just... " she said

"You're afraid that they'll be judged because of you?" he finished her sentence as Naruto laughed again

"HAHAHAHA! You think I'll let anything happen to them? They're under my protection... and so are you, one time a villager chucked a rock at Wendy and I sent him running with his tail between his legs," said Naruto as Mira and Yushi looked at him

"T-they would attack a toddler?" questioned Yushi with anger

"Yes... they would," said Naruto

"But why?" asked Mira as Yushi also wanted to know

"Because of me," he said as he finished his breakfast "why do you think I have a metal arm?" he finished as Mira and Yushi seethed while Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy looked confused
