Chapter 9

Three months have passed since Natsu and Gajeel had started their training along with Team Fairy Tail. Naruto was now in the Hokage's office along with the other sensei's

"I, Might Gai, volunteer Rock Lee, Tenten, and Neji Hyuga for the Chunin Exams"

"I, Kurenai Yuhi, volunteer Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame for the Chunin Exams"

"I, Kakashi Hatake,"

"And Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze, volunteer Mito and Natsuki Uzumaki Namikaze, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha for the Chunin Exams"

"I, Naruto Kyuubi Stinger, volunteer Konohamaru Sarutobi, Udon Ise, and Moegi Kazamatsuri for the Chunin Exams"

"Permission granted," said Minato as he got the required papers for each team to participate in the Chunin Exams. The Chunin Exams were about to happen next week and these 5 sensei's thought it was about time to see how well their teaching worked. Minato then handed everyone the paperwork for their students and asked Kushina and Naruto to stay. "What is it Hokage-sama?" asked Naruto as he was getting pretty upset about whenever he tried to exit the office he was stopped by Minato

"Now Naruto, I just want you to know that I suspect that something will happen during the Exams. I want you to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. That goes for you too Kushina" he said

"Is that everything? Well, I guess I better get going then" he said as he turned around but was stopped again, but this time by Kushina

"Now, Sochi-" she managed to say as she was blasted away from Naruto with a huge burst of his magical energy

"Don't ever call me that. Are we understood, Uzumaki?" he said in a menacing voice and Kushina simply nodded. His magical energy then began to lower and looked at Minato

"I'll tell you this once more and only once more. I will never forgive you for what you have done. But I will protect this village because Wendy, Natsu, and Gajeel have grown attached to it. That and the only people that have cared about me, care about it. So I'll do what I'm am ordered, but you can only abuse your power to a certain point, Minato. So remember these words well, I may be your dog for the time being, but I will bite the hand that feeds me, and you will fall" and walked out of the office. Getting out of his chair, Minato went to go pull Kushina out of the bookcase. After dusting herself off she looked at Minato and said

"This wouldn't have happened if we didn't listen to that stupid pervert of a sensei you have, you know that?"

" I know, I know, I know I messed up big time, but it was for the well being of Konoha"

"FOR THE WELL BEING OF KONOHA! MINATO I'LL KILL YOU!" she shouted as she went into a berserk mode and lunged at Minato. The ANBU were too scared to interfere and Minato's screams could be heard throughout the village.

In the Village Hidden in the Rain:

A man with orange hair, purple eyes, black nail polish, and a black cloak that was decorated with red clouds sneezed and said "Someone will know pain. I pity the fool that is experiencing it"

With Naruto:

Naruto was walking through the village until he heard someone say "PUT DOWN MY BROTHER NOW!"

"And why should I. This brat needs to be taught a lesson?" and raced over to where the yelling could be heard. He appeared on a branch near a tree to see a redhead child under him with a giant gourd and bags under his eyes. He looked over to see a boy with face-paint, wearing a black suit with cat ears, and a wrapped up object on his back with the same ears. Standing behind him was a blonde girl with four short ponytails and a giant fan on her back. In the boy's hands was Natsu and Gajeel was trying to get him out of his hands. Behind Gajeel was Moegi, Konohamaru, and Udon
