Chapter 15

One Month Time-Skip:

During their training, Naruto, Konohamaru, and Wendy all got stronger. Konohamaru was actually able to make Naruto fight at 10% of his power while he was fighting at 35%. Naruto learned even more magic to add to his massive amounts of knowledge. Wendy could regenerate small limbs such as fingers, eyes, and ears thanks to the scrolls in the ruins. But the relationship between Naruto and Kushina had chilled, but he still hates her with a passion. Mito and Natsuki so far were only able to make bigger Rasengans but were still no match for Jiraiya and Tsunade. They all approached Konoha's gates where they were stopped by the guards

"State your business," said Izumo as he got a good look at them "Oh, I'm sorry, you can go right in, Lady Kushina," he said as they all passed through the village. They then went to the arena for the final part of the Chunin exams.

"Sensei?" asked Konohamaru

"Yes?" replied Naruto

"Should I go all out or should I play with my opponent when my turn comes?" he asked

"It's your choice, you managed to pass Acnologia's final test, but you still have much to learn," he said as Konohamaru looked down

"I really didn't want to do the final test," said Konohamaru as Naruto put a hand on his shoulder

"I know, but he told you to do it because he wanted it to happen, plus he wanted you to have the experience of killing a powerful dragon, like himself. It was a great honor in his eyes to die by his student's hands, for there can only be one dragon king" he said as Konohamaru just tightened his fist

"I know, but I wanted him to live. How was I supposed to know that he wanted me to kill him?" he said as they approached the arena. Naruto just smirked as he eyed Konohamaru

"Sensei, what is it?" he asked

"Wanna make an entrance?" he asked as Konohamaru smiled

"How do you want to do it?"

"How about I grow huge and step over the wall while you fly over and do a roar in the sky?" he replied as Konohamaru nodded. Naruto then picked up Wendy, who was laughing as Naruto began to grow. Konohamaru grew a pair of wings like the one Acnologia had and shot into the air. Naruto on the other hand just continued to grow as his knees reached the top of the walls. Konohamaru then places himself near Naruto and roared into the sky making a picture of his dead sensei out of blue and black flames.

In The Kage Booth:

They all quaked in fear at what they were seeing, but one more so than Minato. There was Naruto, somehow using the Akimichi family jutsu and next to him was the imposing figure of what seemed to be a dragon. Naruto then stepped over the arena walls and shrunk. After Naruto entered the arena, the giant dragon then started to converge on a point in the middle of the arena and slammed into the ground, causing it to shake. When that was over, there stood Konohamaru wearing the same clothes as his sensei when he was human and covered in the same tattoos., with his arms crossed. Naruto had Wendy on his shoulder and walked to the stands. Konohamaru walked over to Udon and Moegi. They didn't know who this person was, but when he got over to them he said

"Great to see you two again, was the village boring without me?" he said as Udon and Moegi just shouted

"KONOHAMARU?!"

"YEP!" replied Konohamaru as he laughed

"HOLY CRAP!" shouted the rest of the participants, except for one. That one being a Hyuga with long brown hair. He just scoffed and thought 'The dead last may have gotten stronger, but he cannot decide his fate', it was after that thought that the screen showed two names. Neji Hyuga and Konohamaru Sarutobi. The rest of the genin left the arena except for those two. Neji walked to the other side of the arena and got into his stance
