YongTine (Taeyong and Val) Ever since SM rookies, Taeyong and Val have been shipped together. They would call them the Tsundere couple, which later evolved into the Jelsa couple. Tae and Val looks like they are so cold whenever they are being filmed but they are actual dorks when not. Fans have also noticed that Yong and Val always sit next to each other. There was a time when NCT has gathered together and Val was late. They left the space next to Taeyong empty for Val to seat.

ValHyun (Val and Jaehyun) Jaehyun and Val didn't have a pretty good start. Val was just cold and quiet, Jaehyun was shy to approach her. Then Ten made the two talk to each other since he noticed that they weren't close. After a span of a couple days, they became the closest of friends. Fans still swoon at the story of the two.

Ven (Val and Ten) Since Val loves dancing a lot, it was no surprise that she was pretty close with Ten. They were buddies when it comes to learning or making choreographies. The two were open for any kinds of dances because they feel comfortable with each other. Whether its a difficult or a sensual dance, the two are up for it. Val admitted that she found the perfect partner in Ten which became the tagline for this ship.

ValNy (Val and Johnny) Coming from America, they relate to each other a lot. They would often talk about the latest movies or shows that are being shown in Netflix. Often times the two would recreate the latest memes that are found in the internet. The ship blossomed when the two reenacted scenes from Titanic in an NCT life episode.

ValYu (Val and Yuta) The ship that seems to hate each other but love each other dearly. Val and Yuta always disses one another but then if the other one is missing then they would be super worried about them. Yuta does pranks on Val and as a result he gets chased down by a mad Val. Val and Yuta doesn't know why the ship between them is still happening.

VaEil (Val and Taeil) Fans noticed how Taeil was always looking around for Val every time they were out. At the airports, he would guide Val from the crowd and blinding lights. During award shows, he makes sure that she doesn't get cold. Fans also pointed out how they had necklace which is similar to each other. Val has the shape of the moon in it while Taeil has a heart on his. Theory is that Taeil is the moon of Val and Val is the heart of Taeil
