Born in August 14, 1998

An American citizen but technically half Korean and half Filipino.

Her father is korean while her mom is a filipino

She has two brothers, one is older while the other is younger

She left america at the age of 12 to try her luck in Korea

First entered JYP entertainment but after 7 months she quitted

She was hesitant about SM entertainment but she was convinced upon meeting Johnny on the auditions.

Very close with Heechul and Donghae of Super Junior, Sunny of Girls' Generation and Krystal of f(x)

Supposed to be a part of Red Velvet but she didn't fit the debut concept

The only one in SM who can deal with Siwon, Yunho and Minho

Her idol in life is Dara of 2ne1 and Lay of EXO

She plays in some MVs of other groups

1/4 of the foreign swaggers

Mother goose of the dreamies

Described as a passionate dancer because she just cant stop dancing

Her role is being the dancer and rapper

She has debuted in NCT U and 127

The reason why she debuted with NCT is that she fits with them really well. She did the demo of "The 7th Sense" and that's when it was agreed that she should debut with NCT

Wanted to debut with the Dreamies but then Taeyong said that she wasn't as cute as the Dreamies

She is good at acting chic and serious but she doesn't know how to act cute

However she is a human fluff ball from time to time

Interacts with fans a lot, she evens has her own tumblr and twitter to see what the fans have been saying

SM gets a headache because Val couldn't keep her mouth shut about their comeback and stuffs

Queen of reactions because literally everyday she feeds the fans with memes of herself

Nicknamed Valiety because she is good at doing Variety Shows

She is not good at dating because she never had experiences about it

She is scared of spiders and she doesn't like dolls
