•Nepeta's POV•

Five minutes that felt like an eternity. Well thats what I thought. Turns out three minutes felt like a five minute eternity. We were in the right area all that I had to wait through was two minutes of driving down the short road that turned left into the the parking lot everyone else parked in . As we drove down the road I counted the seconds that passed in my head. 7, 8, 9, 10. We passed by the 'Eagle Surf Shop' a store whose name always raised question and confusion from me. 23, 24, 25, 26. We neared the stop sign that was at the turn. 35, 36, 37, 38. As we slowed to a stop we waited to let a car continue down the road he was on and straight into the parking lot before turning in ourselves. 60, 1, 2, 3. We drove down the aisles looking for were everyone was. 23, 24, 25- Dirk turned to the right into an open spot next the car Terezi was in.

Finally as I opened the door of the vehicle and jumped out I knew I was truly free from the choking silence of the car's back seat. I streched my legs out and looked around the group.

When I spoted Terezi I walked over to where she had gone which was next to the car Kanaya was in that just park on the other side of the SUV.

When it rolled up I remembered the text message conversation I had and that Kanaya was driving. I began to worry thinking that she texted and drove at the same time until she hoped out of the passenger seat. I looked and saw Feferi hope out the driver side. When I got up to her Kanaya looked at me and smiled and smiling back I said

"I forgot you were supposed to drive when I messaged you and began to worry after the conversation."

"Oh Don't Worry. I Wouldnt Text And Drive And I Didnt Drive Because My License Is At My House."

With that we began to stride back to the SUV after she grabbed her blue purse, that Porrium put in her overnite back fur her, from Jake's car.

At the SUV as Terezi grabbed her School backpack I walked back to the car I drove in to grab my cat bag. I began to look fur it to no avail and became slightly worried that it had been furgot when Dirk called out

"Hey Nepeta sorry I grabbed your bag when I saw you were over at the other car. I was on the way to bring it to you when you started to look."

When I looked up he slightly swung it as a signal to ask if he was allowed to toss it. When I nodded he carefully tossed it my way and I called back,

"Thank you Dirk."

And walked back with the group.

We began discussing where to start walking. I didnt quite care so as everyone was suggesting and shooting down options I sat in the open trunk of the SUV and looked in my bag. I didnt know what contents where put in here other than my wallet, earlier today I was told to empty the bag I wanted to take of everything I didnt want and put it in the pile with the rest of them to be packed. When I looked in at the contents I saw a bottle of water, one of those small single serving bags of chips, my wallet, and a coupon book with a note on it. Picking it up and pulling the note off I examined what the scribbles said

'I know a coupon book. But we get these suckers every week in our mail box for some reason and dont know what to do with them. So me and Dave decided to give all of you guys one. There might be some shit in here that comes to use to you so here enjoy the little gift from the Striders to you

-Dirk'

I giggle a little at the note which cause the person next to me to look up from what they where doing. Realizing that I wasnt the only person sitting here I jumped. Looking up I ended up staring Karkat right in the face when he said
