NATE'S POV:
It was a normal day like any other. I was on my way home from the grocery store, just with a few essentials in the trunk of my car. I was on the final main road, before I had to turn onto a dirt road to get to my house. I pretty much lived in the middle of nowhere, on a dead-end dirt road, away from most civilization. The nearest town was like, 10 miles away.
It was a nasty day out, the weather looking extra bad. It was foggy, rainy, and cold. I didn't own a heavy winter jacket, so I just wore a long sleeve shirt with the heaviest sweatshirt I could find. It didn't help much. Then, my car started acting weird, and I heard a slight popping noise.
"The hell?" I asked myself. I stopped the car, putting it in park quickly before getting out. I looked down and noticed that my front tire has gone flat. Great. Another thing to add to this rainy day. It doesn't help that I love so far away, on a dirt road. But I barely have the money to move.
I'm just a normal guy. I don't have thousands of dollars. Although, my friend good Andrew owns a record label, and he's lended me some money, but not a lot. Just enough to make house and car payments if I don't have enough on my own with my job at the coffee shop. I promised him I wouldn't take him for granted and ask him money for big things like a new house. It's my life, I don't want him giving me his hard earned cash to me. He insists on helping me most days when I have financial trouble, but I always say no. Even when I really don't want to.
Anyway, I got back in my car, and pulled over completely onto the side of the main road. I looked around at the tire to see what I needed to fix. A gust of wind blew and sent a shiver down my spine. I looked around, seeing no cars on the main road.
Freaky. I thought. I've never seen this road so...bare.
I looked back at the flat tire.
I think I passed a shop a few blocks away. I'll see what they can do. I thought as I stood up, and started walking down the road. I was looking at my phone quickly, and then felt a heavy bump on my shoulder.
"Oh, my, god, I'm so sorry!" I said. "I didn't see where I was..." Then, the person I ran into turned out to be a beautiful girl. "Going....."
"It's fine." She said, her voice like silk. "I didn't watch my surroundings either." She giggled.
So cute....
"Where are you heading on a day like today?" She asked.
"Uhh, my car got a flat tire and I was going down to the shop to see what they could do." I answered.
"Oh, that's a shame. You need some help?"
"No, I-I think I'm fine."
"Nonsense!" She said. "Don't you worry. I'll take you there, and help you with your car situation."
"A-are you sure?" I asked. "You really don't need to."
"But I want to." He grabbed my hand from my side. I blushed a little. "It's the least I can do for bumping into you mister..."
"Nathan." I said. "My name's Nathan Sharp....yours?"
"Y/N L/N."
Even her name is cute...I thought. Snap out of it Nate! She's just being nice. It's not like anything further is gonna progress...
Right?
She lead me down to the shop and we went inside, being smacked in the face with the smell of oil and dust, and the slight "new car smell".
Y/N'S POV:
Me and Nate walked up to the desk, and I saw a familiar face.
"Hey Matt! What's up?" I said.
