Chapter 23: Level Three

Start from the beginning

Violet smiled.

“Justine’s actually near to the point,”

Justine pumped her fist up and let out a huge laugh.

“So basically we need to find Jace some friends,” Violet stated.

“But I already have friends!” I protested.

“Who?” Anastasia asked.

“You guys obviously!”

“Really? Never knew we were friends,” She chortled.

I punched her on the arm.

Hard.

“Ouch! What was that for?” Anastasia complained.

I stuck my tongue out her, “Not friends remember?”

She gave me a mean stare and eventually sighed.

“Fine you win!” she declared.

Violet cleared her throat, “Can’t we just focus even for a minute or so?”

“Yes Ma’am,” Mia squeaked from behind.

Seriously though, what’s with the urgency Violet?

“So back to the topic?” Violet asked.

“Yes Ma’am,” Everyone replied in unison.

“So we need to find Jace, some guy friends,” Violet finished.

“And how will we achieve that?” Justine raised.

Violet turned to face the group.

“What are boy’s common interests in your own observations?”

“Basketball!” Margaux exclaimed from the far back.

“Video Games?” Chartreuse suggested.

“Football?”

“Computer?”

“Swimming?”

“Can’t you guys just say sports in general?”

One by one suggestions kept popping up.

“Sex” Anastasia blurted out.

I threw my hands up in the air exasperated.

“What is with you and sex?”

“I like it,” Anastasia stated as a matter of fact.

I shook my head.

“Wai-t! I do have guy friends! What about Ted?” I clarified.

“Ugh-h will someone tell me on like who on earth is Ted?” Margaux asked.

Ashley snapped her fingers, “He’s the bookish-dude who qualified for the Math Olympiad!”

“You have a friend named Ted?” Anastasia guffawed.

“Not funny,” I grimaced.

“Sorry,” Anastasia between fits of laughter, “It’s just that..he sounds like a teddy bear y’know?” she added and laughed more.

Violet cleared her throat.

“Anyways, guys like Ted, won’t be good for your image,” she remarked.

You girls are very judgmental

“What about Chad?” I pointed out.

“You mean that stick-man?” Ashley asked.

“Ugh-h, he also plays soccer?” I managed to defend.

Violet rolled her eyes.

“Not acceptable,”

“Anyways, Jace, we really need to find someone who could like reinstate the image, I mean after what happened to Taylor, all our progress was like for nothing,” Violet added.

A sudden realization crept into my mind.

“God, please no! I will never hangout with Draco! Please! Nooo!”

Violet let out a deep sigh.

“Of course! Duh!”

“Though shouldn’t we like tell the police about what he did?” Justine asked.

I shrugged.

I absolutely didn’t have any idea.

“Who wants to eat spaghetti?” Mia asked out of a sudden.

Everyone ignored her though.

“So does anyone have any propositions on how we should handle this situation?” Violet pushed.

“We should..umm..like enroll him in some sort of sport I guess?” Justine suggested.

Chartreuse raised her hand and Violet pointed her out.

“Michael did tell me that they were having some sort of try-outs for the Basketball team,”

I sighed.

How did I even forget that Chartreuse was actually dating the Captain of the basketball team?

Violet beamed.

“That is perfect!”

I face-palmed myself.

“No!”

“Yes!” the gang exclaimed in unison.

How can I possibly survive dribbling a stupid ball?

“So, does anyone want to eat spaghetti?” Mia asked.
