Chapter 10 ~ Isn't She Lovely?

Liam's POV

I'm chatting with Louis, and then Lisa comes downstairs.

She looked very pretty with the natural look. While other girls where layers upon layers of make-up, she wore a light and minimal amount. Her blue- almost grey- eyes were mesmerizing.

As she came down the stairs, her blond ponytail swished side to side.

Isn't she lovely?

"Ready to go?" I ask her.

She nods her head, and we make our way out to the car. Being the gentlemen I am, open the door for her and she hops in.

I get into the driver's seat and pull out a blindfold.

"Put this on" I  sat, handing it to her.

"Why?"

"Because where we're going is a surprise" I say excitedly.

"Okay" She says, while attempting to put it on.

"Here. Let me do it."

Once the blindfold was on, we set off.

After a while, we pull up to a ice-skating rink and I get out of the car.Lisa struggles to get out, as she's blindfolded, so I help her out.

She flinches at my touch, and I move back.

What's her problem?

Lisa's POV

Liam grabs my hand to help me out of the car.

I flinch away from him, and he lets go. I can just tell his expression is sad.

"Sorry" I apologise.

"It's okay. It could've been anyone" He says.

If only that was the reason.

Even after what happened the first time, he takes my hand in his and leads me in some direction.

His hand is warm in mine, and it feels as if they were made for each other.

I push the though aside.

"Are we there yet?" I whine in a childish voice.

"We are now" He replies.

It suddenly gets cold, and Liam takes the blindfold of me.

It comes off and reveals the most beautiful ice-skating rink I have ever seen.

Fairy lights are hanging above the rink and in the middle; there is a lovely picnic (Original!).

"This is amazing!" I say, my eyes full of wonder and awe.

"Thanks. I thought you'd like it."

"How did you know this was my idea of a perfect date?" I ask.

"I forced it out of Courtney" He laughs.

"That explains it" I laugh back.

"Shall we?" He asks.

"Yes, we shall."

I link arms with him, and he leads me towards the Skating Shoe Rentals shop.

"Why's there no one here?" I ask.

"I rented the place out just for you and me" He explains.

"That's so sweet! But you shouldn't have!"

We put our skates on, and make our way onto the ice. I'm shaky at first, but Liam steady's me by holding my hand.

I start to blush, but thankfully he doesn't notice.

We skate into the middle and sit down on the water-proof mat.

"You hungry?" He asks.

"Definitely!"

After we finish eating, we start talking.

Liam is very sweet and down to earth, but I'm not quite ready to start trusting anyone fully right now. Courts, Haz and Louis are the only people I can trust at the moment.

My legs start to get numb, so I get up and start skating.

"Bet 'ya can't catch me!" I tease.

"Oh really?" He smiles cheekily.

He gets up and starts chasing me. I start to squeal.

I was to slow, and he picks me up and spins me around. I was laughing the whole time.

He puts me down, but leaves his hands on my hips.

I'm a little shorter than him, so I have to look up to look him in the eyes.

He looks into my eyes lovingly, then starts to lean closer.

My body takes control, and starts to lean closer as well.

My minds screaming 'Danger! Danger! To close!'.

Our lips connect, and I feels sparks instantly.

This is what I've been longing for. It feels as if that small part of me is now filled.

Our lips move in perfect sync.

This isn't my first kiss (Jake stole that), But is by far the best.

The sudden realization of what is happening hits. I start to have flash backs of me and Jake.

My eyes go wide, and I push him away.

He looks at me, confused and hurt.

His expression is so sad, I almost put my arms around him and tell him I'm sorry.

But I will myself not to.

I back away from him and skate away. I scramble out of the exit, and rip off the skates. I then start to run.

I can hear Liam calling my name, but I just ignore it and keep running.

I'm running as fast as I can, not sure about where I'm going.

But all I know is that I need to get away from here.
