SuperFlash: Inheritance

Chapter 9

"So what's happening" Oliver says to Barry.

He takes a deep breath, "Well as you may know...joe was victim to an attack by weather wizard".

"Fucking God Barry is he ok?" Oliver asks worried over his God son.

"He should be ok...but Mardons shouldn't" Barry says as he clenchs his fist.

"Barry..your not...are you?" Oliver asks concerns over his best friend's rage.

"Kara convinced me not to. Well not to kill him at least. A beating is still on the table. And..I need your help"

"Barry, I'm in." Says Oliver.

Barry thanks him as a he turns into a streak of lightning reappearing in his costume.

"Suit up Ollie" He says.

Oliver begins to change into his forest green leather suit. It's militant style containing knives and passed material looked sleek yet also tough.
Next he pulled combat boots into him alongside a friction proof,  highly manuevable pair of gloves.
Finally he pulled his carbon mask over his eyes and if course his hood.

"What's the plan" Oliver says; his voice modulator in working order.

Barry, cowl down responds "Cisco tracked him to an abondoned Argus warehouse. There's 7 smashed Windows which we can get access to him through and no spottable vehicle which he can use to escape."

"So you do learn?" Oliver says  "I'm somewhat impressed" he continues.

"So I'm going to go in as a distaction and draw his fire, I need you to take out anyone else in there with stealth and...if I lose control, do what you have to do" Barry says with a long sigh near the end.

"Alright Barry" Oliver said.

"Clyde is in an office in the back left" Felicity says over the coms.

"Thanks" the two men say.

"So is there a reason why Kara isn't here?" Oliver asks his friend silently.

"Basically she just wants to be with Joe...I don't blame her. I should be too but instead I'm after a meta who before last week I hadnt fought for years." Barry says, a tear in his eye.

"The flash? Crying?" Mardon remarks with a chuckle. "Green arrow too? I must be in trouble" the snidey voice says.

"The plan failed, we should've accounted for timing" Barry to Oliver.

"Says a speedster" He jokes

Weather wizard raises his hand, pointing towards the pair as lightning strikes. "Why do you chat so much?" He says with anger.

"I have good social media skills, I've got fast fingers after all" Barry says hoping to hide his rage under layers of comedy, just as Ralph taught him.

Oliver rolls west, as he runs up the stairs towards mardon.
Barry runs in circles drawing fire from mardon, creating the distraction Oliver needed. The archerpulled back his bowstring as he fires a boxing glove arrow knowing him over.

"Flash quick! Cuff him" Ollie shouts.

Barry runs, as everything around him freezes, grabbing the cuffs and locking them onto him.

"Your gonna end it like this flash?" Martin says.

"It ends like this mardon" Oliver says as he draws back his bow.

"Flash, I hurt you, your wife AND I HOSPITALIZED YOUR SON, YET YOUR JUST LOCKING ME UP. When you killed my brother, I wanted to kill you. And your not killing me." He says his fists clenched.

"I didn't kill your brother" Barry says "Also.. if you insist" Barry continues vibrating his hand,thrusting it just before weather wizards heart.

"Flash" a chuckling voice says behind him. "It's been a while. It's been so long that the axid wants to meet you again". The voice was the trickster, axel walker.

"Axel" Barry replies.

"Yeah that's my name don't ring it out. Oh but sir it's time for you to be returned from a sentence" Axel says as he drops pink smoke; fleeing.

"Barry?" Oliver says.

"There working together and God knows how many other criminals" Barry says in shock..
