Just find a way to get home

There's space in my heart

Open arms for you to run to

Baby, close your eyes and take the leap

To make believe in fairytale

I'll meet you there

Oh, yeah, I'll fall too.

[The night before]

Shawn's P.O.V.

Hailee and I trudge through the dark alley, weapons in hand and only moonlight illuminating over us. I have a terrible feeling about this, although I've gone on missions like this for Lorence countless times before. But this one in particular is going to lead to something terrible, I just know it.

Lorence sent us after Carlos Devine, a guy he was having a deal with a couple of weeks ago. According to Lorence, this guy knew way too much about how our business works and could turn us in at any moment to the authorities because of an issue the two of them had a few days before Lorence told us about him, and so we were instructed to take him down. He also told us that we needed to bring him Carlos's assistant and right hand, some guy named Frankie. He didn't tell us why, but he did mention it was very, very important that this person be brought to him.

I take a steady, deep breath, trying to calm myself down as we move slowly, and quietly further down the alley. Right as we reach the end of it, I stop Hailee before she goes any further with my hand.

"I think someone's in there." I whisper, referring to the warehouse across from us as soon as I hear a screeching noise coming from inside. "Do you hear that?" I ask her as soon as the noise sounds again and she nods. "I do."

I turn my gaze back to the warehouse and see the lights inside flick on, indicating that sombody is in fact in there. I breathe out slowly as I eye the place. Above the warehouse is what looks like an office, or offices. There are two more floors above the warehouse, a rather big window in the middle of the second floor, I'm guessing that's where the main office is. The lights are on in there so Carlos must be still in there. Perfect.

I narrow my eyes as I take it all in one more time. "On three, we move towards the back, okay, Haiz?" I turn to look at her for a brief moment and she nods. I look back at the place again, anticipating any sign that whoever's inside is about to leave.

"One,"

I hear a faint rumble coming from the inside of the warehouse.

"Two,"

The lights flick off, only a faint, white one remaining, indicating that whoever is there is still inside. I narrow my eyes as I think for a moment.
