It was the same spot where she was given back her memories by Klaus. She picks up one of the needles that had an ounce of blood, trying to remember the memories she was given when she was laying on the ground. Cora drops the needle, sighing in defeat and she takes one step, being attacked with a memory right there.

The girl's eyes open from her slumber and slowly sits up, blinded by the sunlight shining in the apartment she owned. Cora searches around the floor for an article of clothing, picking up a dress shirt that was closer to her. She slips on her panties and the shirt, buttoning it up, then she stands up hearing the shower running. Cora softly pushes the bathroom door open, seeing the mirror foggy from the warm water letting off steam. She looks at her plain colored shower curtains, grabbing one side and opening it revealing the man she has been in an relationship for almost a year; Elijah.

"Came to join me?" Elijah turns around, slightly smiling at the girl. "Nice shirt, by the way."

The corners of Cora's lips lift up and she takes off the clothes she previously put on, then getting inside the shower beside Elijah. She starts to wash herself, feeling his eyes on her from behind. His hand slowly moves to her waist, pulling her closer to him and turning her around. They come face to face and Elijah slightly lifts her chin with his finger, then connecting their lips. Cora deepens the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck and combing her fingers through his hair. He pins her against the shower wall and she looks at him with desperation, but he pulls away.

"I have some business to take care of, sweetheart," Elijah exits out of the shower, leaving Cora in the shower sexually frustrated. She finishes getting washed up and exits the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body.

"When are you coming back?" She goes to their closet of clothes. "We have plans for our anniversary tonight, you know."

"Before our reservations, love," Elijah fixes his tie as he was quickly dressed. He walks over to the girl and uses his one hand to cup her face. "I promise."

The girl looks up at him and softly smiles, nodding as his promise. They both share a loving kiss and soon, he was out of their apartment.

Cora snaps out of memory lane and hears leaves crunching from a distance, also hearing the faint sound of a human's heart beating. She slowly swallows as the hunger for warm blood grows more as the heartbeat inches closer to where she stands. A groan causes her ears to perk up and the similar smell of blood fills her nose, allowing the veins to pop out from under her eyes.

The man groans and uses his finders to touch the bleeding wound on his knee to see how bad it actually is. A good amount of blood appears on his fingers and he groans, standing up from where he fell on the ground and searching his bag for his small first-aid kit. Cora quietly creeps behind the trees, trying to fight the hunger but it only got stronger now that she was introduced to so much blood because of Klaus.

He sits on a log and grabs gauze to cover the deep wound, and wraps it up. Footsteps from the vampire stops the man and he looks around, suspicious and scared that someone is following him. He stands up, circling around his surroundings slowly to find someone, seeing no one this far until Cora appears in front of him once he makes a three sixty. She flashes her fangs and sinks her teeth into his neck, sucking his delicious blood, ignoring his screams. Her prey squirms around her arms until it stops moving around, signaling her that he is dead. She removes her lips and takes a deep breath, feeling blood drip from the corner of her mouth.

"Wow, I guess the rumors were true."

Cora speeds towards the person who spoke up, hissing at the girl but then she twists her arm, pinning her onto the ground. The girl on top of her has a stronger grip than she does and Cora groans, realizing who it is.
