chapter seventeen ♡

"okay, so we're gonna walk out together" jack smiled at me.

"it will be like our wedding" he said:

our wedding? haha what?

"our wedding?" i asked.

"yeah when i turn twenty three because we won't be married" he said.

"but-" i started.

"i know you, lily, you don't love dillon, i'm happy for you, really. i just don't think it will last" he shrugged.

oh.

well maybe he was right, i don't love dillon like that, i don't think i ever could.

but my little phase where i said i loved jack was over.

later on, we went back to our house and just hung out there all day.

"do you think that nate and zoey will last?" i asked.

"honestly, i don't know" jack shrugged.

his phone started ringing, he answers and talked to someone.

"i have to go to the studio with j" he said.

"okay, see you later" i said and he left.

i was alone now.

i invited zoey over and we just hung out all day and talked about random things.

at some point she invited over, sammy and nate.

and of course, me and sammy felt like third wheels so me and him went upstairs and played video games in jack's room.

"uh so, don't you have like feelings for jack?" sammy asked.

whattttt?? hahaha

"haha, no." i said.

"are you sure?" he asked.

"i'm sure, samuel. he's my bestfriend.. that's just, it's just crazy" i said in a high pitched voice.

"oh.." he trailed off.

what did he mean by oh?

"what do you mean.. oh..?" i asked pausing the game and looking at him.

i've known this kid forever and i know when he lies and he's lying right now to my face and i don't like it.

"nothing" he brushed it off.

"samuel howard wilkinson, you better freaking tell me, you're lying to me." i said staring at him.

"okay, okay fine! i think jack may have feelings for you.. that's all." he said.

jack, have feelings for me? that's so funny.

"haha" i started laughing like crazy.

"okay, fine, don't tell me" i said and un paused the game.

he didn't even crack a smile though.

"oh.. you're being serious?" i said widening my eyes.

"yeah" sammy said.

"you're crazy, sam" i said and continued playing the game, eventually killing sammy in the game.

but what if he wasn't lying.. what if jack did have feelings for me?

what about dillon.

speaking of dillon, he's calling me right now.

i picked up the phone.

"hey" i smiled, sammy watching me.

"hey, what's up? what are you up to?" he asked.

"nothing, just hanging with sammy" i shrugged.

"oh cool, cool. so there's a wedding i'm invites to in two weeks" he said.

"yeah, i'm in that wedding" i smiled lightly.

"me too, you'll be my date right?" he asked.

"of course, i'd love to be your date" i said.

"great, great. well i've gotta gig. i'll call you tonight" he said.

"okay, good luck!"

"thanks lily. bye" he said and hung up.

i looked at sammy and my smile faded.

"you have feelings for jack" he said.

i wish i didn't.

"how do i get rid of them?" i asked softly.

"don't" he said. "don't get rid of them okay," he said.

i was walking through the mall trying to find a starbucks because i was craving starbucks the past ten minutes since i've been here and seen almost everyone with a starbucks.

as i was walking, i bumped into someone.

"oh, sorry" i apologized.

"oh, you're fine" he smiled, "oh my god, lillian jacobs?" he asked.

then i recognizes him, he was my ex boyfriend. we ended on good terms, don't worry.

from freshman year, lasted like three weeks.

"jacob pea" i smiled brightly.

i used to make fun of him for his last name.

"it's been awhile" he said.

"it has, we should catch up sometime" i said.

"yeah, for sure, i still have your number, i'll text you sometime. that sound good?" he asked.

"yes, sounds great!" i smiled and we parted ways.

i know this chapter was kinda boring, i'll try and upload something not so boring later!!
