A/N: Hey guys! I know I have been silent while posting these chapters, so sorry about that! 🤦🏽‍♀️😂. Man, I have so many darn juicy ideas that will be coming up soon in later chapters. You guys are gonna thank me a TON for this 😁. The image below is a female leopard who in my imagination is, "Bisa". Of course the lioness above is Bahiya. I know in real life, lions and leopards DO NOT get along. But for my book, everyone is accepting of each other 😅. Plus, it is so fun  to write about!

Bahiya

After finally coming out of that desert oasis, we've reached a land with grass again. The ground feels wet underneath our paws, which meant that it had rain here. The clouds and sky are still dark and gloomy.

"Okay, everyone stick close together. We are in a new land and have no idea who claims it. Don't try to be suspicious! The animals here might think we are threat to their home." Said Makosa.

Bisa and I nod our heads taking Maksoa's advice. We continue walking in this strange land. I wonder what it's called and if there are lions here too! So far the animals we have seen are elephants and hippos. Both species are standing around in the wet mud, but not close together. Elephants and hippos have this sort of thing where they respect each other's space. If they come too close, then a quick fight is bound to happen.

The two species ignore us as if we weren't passing by. I guess they figure we are around here or no threat to them. As we continue walking, more animals appear. Zebras are grazing on the wet grass and a group of giraffes are standing around trees. At least we know there is plenty of life here. This particular land must be having their raining season.

"This place doesn't look so bad at all!" Said Bisa.

I nod agreeing. "Yeah, it doesn't.  But I don't see any lions here yet..."

"I'm sure they are around here some where. There has to be some lions living here. They have a nice food supply and obviously plenty of water. It probably rains here more than the Pride Lands!" Said Makosa. "The Pride Lands gets rain too, but not so often. We have more sunshine!"

"That is true..."

"Let's keep exploring then!" Said Bisa.

Makosa looks unsure. "I don't know Bisa. Someone might catch us lurking around. This isn't our home! We don't know what could happen. It's best to stay safe. Ya know?"

"Yeah, you're right Prince! How do we get out though? This place sure is big."

"Heh, I was thinking the same exact thing Bisa!" I say, with a slight nod. "We better figure it out fast before-"
